Agreed.
Simply letting you play the game solo or making her invincible would solve the problem.

Invincible, invisible, and paralysed so that she is incapable of being involved in any way.
Makes Army of Two sound like Zelda. I was not aware the co-op AI was so bad in RE5 (but I only played it for 2-3 minutes)
Co-op AI has been pretty decent in most games this gen (they usually accomplish this by the creative means of making your partner invincible).
There are specific moments where she becomes a complete mess, what you described was not one of them. For the most part the AI handles itself very well and it will save your ass a ton of times.

Never give her good weapons, she should just have a handgun and an SMG, she is a beast with the SMG as she never fires it madly, she uses it like a pistol, quick short bursts. She sticks to you like glue, never forget that. As for picking up the mine, you could have called her back. I have put plenty of mines and she never picked them up.

There wasn't time as she flying foxed down right next to it, ran over to it (as if to open the door which she did preivosuly) and picked up the mine instead.

I'm a few hours in so far and she's not saved me once yet. Sure she's less of a problem on follow, but no even then she can be a problem. But hey if she wasn't a complete mess then, I'm not looking forward to finding out how bad she can get.
gamingeek said:Steel, try playing it in single player with Sheva tagging along.
I did. I finished the last third of the game or so on my own, although on the easiest difficulty mode. I never had any trouble with Sheva, and as Vader can attest, I'm probably the worst RE player on the face of the planet.
Maybe your Sheva and Foolz's ones were mentally defficient?

Play on normal from the beggining. And face your woe.

Why would I do that? I already finished it, had a good time with it, and have no intention whatsoever of fucking up the nice impression the game left in me. Besides, I returned it a while ago.
I've played on both Normal and Professional and outside from a couple instances I didn't have too much of a problem with the AI and managed to finish each difficulty.

Hmm, so neither you nor Vader had any issues with the AI, even when playing in the highest difficulty and making breakneck speedruns...
something's fishy in here. I'm looking towards GG/Foolz!

So you dodged the bullet eh?

Yup. I'm like Neo.
But that doesn't take away the fact that both you and Foolz lack PELOTAS. Real action men like vader and Archie grind their way through the game at high difficulties while furiously masturbating to Sheva in alt costumes. Can't say I blame them, though. That lustful ebony goddess...

I'm playing on normal. Am saving hard for a playthrough with a real person.
My guess is that Archie and Vader are both so mentally deficient due to all the shooters that they play, that they are unable to notice how completely retarded Sheva's behaviour is because they themselves have been retarded.
That and the chronic masturbation.
SteelAttack said:Lmao. I loved going through RE5 with a friend. It offered me all the entertainment RE4 failed to provide. I embrace the possibility of co-op for RE6.
I never realized you were insane....
But Sheva had other ideas. She gave me her never-used grenades generously enough, but to replace them ran right up to the proximity mine as soon as Shaft spawned. She didn't even blow it up. No, she picked it up, then ran behind me in an attempt to get my head chopped off this time. After an epic battle that consisted of her running around (often in the path of the Shaft's wild swings) Shaft was dead. My ammo was depleted. She had a fair bit left, but I suppose she thought I didn't need her help agianst Shaft, or that she needed to save her ammo given its complete rarity in modern RE games.
Well, just a bit before a checkpoint. Naturally there would be one final---and totally unexpected!---wave of enemies. Easy enough to kill. Or so I thought. Until Sheva ran right into the middle of them while I was reloading, and before I could knock them back she was dead.
If you could just continue playing after she died, the game would be much easier and better!
