The longer I played the game though, the less interested I was in it and I really had to push myself to play just to finish it. Pretty sad considering it's not really that long of a game. Oh well, whatever... At least I've got Symphony of the Night available to play at any time now.Yeah, I was all pumped for it, but it did not hold my interest for very long. I don't like Castletroid games to start with, but I was hoping my historical interest in games would carry me through.
feel exactly the same. had really been looking forward to that game and was very excited but then found myself not enjoying it at all.
like robio said i feel it was worth it just because it was my only way of getting symphony of the night at the time.
super castlevania IV on the virtual console was sort of similar though i enjoyed it a good bit more and played it much longer than dracula X. though those two games were enough to make me realise that however much i really love the GBA/DS castlevania games, the old stage based ones are not for me
I really should have seen it coming because when I downloaded CVIII: Dracula's Curse last year I ended up quitting it fairly quickly. I had been one of my favorite games of all time, but it just wasn't doing it for me. And likewise, this game was pretty much the same way.
I'll also soon be posting my thoughts on Mimana Iyar Chronicles, 2010's best candidate for "Worst Named Game of the Year." And to give you an early preview, it's not good.
