Style over substance. So, I guess I love them. If only they could be more ironic.

What you need is Gravity's Rainbow.
On an unrelated note to the sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows, I was pretty happy with this show. After a long absense I think we're starting to find a real groove.
My guess is that the search term of the week is people trying to translate a common Arabic phrase.
Pachter says The Order will sell 5 million? R.I.P. The Order.
The Valve rant was unbridled truthsaying.

Agreed. The two host format works well when you get a few shows under your belt. What I like about podcasting is how it actually documents your evolution (or devolution) in thinking.
BTW, I have tried DLing 141 from the RSS several times and it is not showing up.

You describe the "beautiful geometry" of the trade system in the game combined with the grind and how much you enjoyed that, as well as the same gameplay of the earlier Harvest Moon games.
Do you have any similar activity in your life that scratches the same itch? Seems like you would be a good stock trader.
(this is a serious question by the way).
Also, "Cute-em-up" is a registered trademark of the Game Under Podcast, you'll be hearing from our lawyers. I coined the term in one of our early pre-internet shows in 1990 when I told, the then infant, Tom Towers that Parodius, was sure to be the first of many "cute-em-ups". I pulled out the casette this afternoon to quote his repsonse, which was, "Gaaaah...... burp.... sniff.." followed by his mother coming on the phone saying, "Phil?! I've told you before, stop calling my baby! I'm serious this time!"

Unbridled bullshit. The first Portal (which I think takes most people 4-5 hours) was acceptable. The second, I did not try as the first made me naseous.
Salgirah Mubarak means "Happy Birthday" in Urdu. I used it waaay back in the day when posting about a friend from Pakistan.
1. The closest outlet to something like that I have is poker, though I rarely play these days as I have trouble finding any local money games. I'm not good at reading tells, but I am good at knowing the statistics of what cards will come up and the likelihood I've got a better hand than my competitors.
2. I'll have you know that my dear childhood friend, Cameron Brown coined the phrase in 1988 when I tried to get him to play Stinger with me and he replied, "no because that looks gay. Its not a shoot'em up, its a cute'em up... No wait its a poop'em up. We're playing Life Force instead."
