Thank you Steel!
Nice town. All you guys seemed to have maximized your towns space. I still have a long way to go.
Pic time:
Bugsy speaking spanish. I was amazed at the cryptic messages from outer space. And I wanted to watch lost.
Bugs saying goodbye in front of my de-evolved Nook. I wanted to give him a scar as a souvenir.
Showing dvader my hygienic facilities.

You still not laid down paths yet? You should be buying flowers each day from nookingtons and healing your grass. It takes 6 weeks, but you have to stick to your paths. I've been collecting flower seeds at my gates for desert towns. If everyone does it we can heal the world.
Steel I love how you have the telescope facing the window. Nice touch. What is that thing in front of the telescope though?
I want that helmet you are wearing. Send me one!
I have a new basement guys. I want to make it some sort of ninja/samurai dungeon room but I dont really have enough stuff. I need that wallpaper that looks like a Castlevania backdrop.

What is the wallpaper called? Did you get my letter?
I dont know what its called but it has candles on.
I got the letter, I have one, I sent it to Dvader. Thanks though.

Okay, coming now.
I'm definitely making that LOST themed cabin, then I'll work on the lawn.
I promise, GG.
That's weird I sat around and you guys didn't show up I thought you'd forgotten or snubbed me.
I tried to see if you had opened your gates again but no. So I left it on for 20 minutes and nada.
Today a horrible thing happend, I realized I am getting tired of this game. It happend when I went to the turnip lady to buy a red turnip and then I thought, crap that means I need to put this game in every day just to water the damn thing. Then I thought of how the first thing I did when I woke up was get on this game so that I did not miss the turnip lady. Last night I had to get on just to sell my turnpis at steel. All week long I had to play daily, to get the red turnip.
For what, to make money, to buy stuff that I have no room for. Even if I did have room, so i place it in a room, it doesn't do anything. What happens when i put on the game, I have to run around town picking fruit running back and forth from the fruit to nooks to sell it. I have already seen the pattern to the game, every week a wallpaper lady will show up, KK will play, turnip lady will come, some walrus dude will be on the bridge, there maybe a weekend event, there will be 2 or 3 fossils to find each day, someone will have a delivery to make, someones key will be in the river, someone may move out, someone may move in, a present maybe flying around.
The no goal thing finally hit me like a ton of bricks, there is no end to this, there is no point to any of it. I thought of my future with the game and I saw an endless loop of the same thing. The most enjoyable thing about the game by far is sharing it with you guys. The reason i would want to have a new themed room is so you guys can check it out. Thats cool and all but other than that its an endless collect-a-thon.
So I didnt buy the red turnip. This week I am getting Infamous, I dont want to have to play Animal Crossing if I dont want to. Next week is E3, I will be very much focused on that so again no time to get on. I may need a break, the magic wore off. I still like the game a lot, I totally get the appeal but I told you guys coming in that its not my type of game, I am a guy that likes to beat things, I want my game to have a goal, I want to be able to win. I can't win Animal Crossing.
Have you experienced an event day yet Dvader?
The game is pretty much what you described, but its ridiculously addictive. If you create new characters you will have more than enough room and collecting the items, placing them and admiring/interacting with them is pleasure enough. As well as filling up the museum. I got the Mona Lisa recentely.
Yeah there is no real goal in the game. It's just something you play each day like keeping a diary. Most people get that pointless feeling at the start of the game before the addiction sets in though.
I guess you need to play online more and visit towns other than your own more. And dont feel forced to play each day because of turnips. If your red turnips wither that's only a grand, two pieces of fruit. Why not check gamefaqs, see the dates for event days and make sure you play the game on those days?
Look, Dvaders name is in the corner. This is Hyrule.
This was when Dvader and Monkey came over for the KK gig. That is Dvaders smiling face in the corner.
What is froufrou?
Tut tut. Losing ones keys is not a good idea.
Why the hell am I collecting flowers for people who never pick them up? Travo! Lay down some paths. Steel, get off your ass. Monkey!
Look at this! 6 months playing the game daily and this is the first time this has happened. I didn't know this, but the game links your cities up online not just in the auctions, but for the Happy room academy and Gracies.
This is in the Happy Room academy, Monkeys House was the theme room.
It's a f******* throne! Just today! And I can't afford it. This is why I love animal crossing. One day something rare pops up that you can't afford and it's tantilising. I want it. It has like cougar heads as the armrests! I want the crown at some point too, only a million bells. I need to have my Little Kings Story room.
Wow, I'm suprised the system is still running with artifacts like that.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile
My wife is on right now. I'll tell her to log on with my character and open the gates. Right now I'm watching football, so if you see me wandering around it's actually her.
