I've become a misanthrope because my town is full of assholes. Every time I see someone in my path, I push him/her or hit him with the bug net to piss him off. Then I leave whistling. I never buy anything from them, and plant traps outside their houses. My perfect AC town would be an empty one, just with me minding my own business.
Edit: Before I have Beaver gnawing at my ballsack for using the term misanthrope when talking about hate for animals, I am aware I am wrong. Suck my balls.

Oh I solved this problem. If you leave your gate open for ages and you've done some stuff you want saved without quitting, go to the gate and ask to go out. Then cancel it and re-open your gate. It saves it for you. Otherwise, if you are doing important stuff, just close the gate.
I spent 31'000 bells on the Moon this morning. Now I own the moon.

i love the fishing tourney so i would try to visit for that if there was a convenient time. my town has been a bit boring too in recent weeks. there aren't even any fossils to be found
