I was surpised how much GTAV and Tomb Raider were shunned. At least in the shows and sites I listen to/ read.

I did not say it was a puzzle game, but I guess in comparing it to Antichamber that is a logical conclusion.
Antichamber and Stanley Parable both rely on bullshit mime-art. Is up really up? Or is it down? Who is to say? *smoke bomb*
But at least Antichamber has puzzles. Stanley P. has humour going for it though.

Not really surprising. TLoU feels like a freshexperience, while GTA is really well made, but feels pretty stale at the moment.
I don't think Brothers is goty material, but I'd still like to play the whole game. The demo was pretty fun.

It's only real problem is pacing. They front-load the first 2/3rd with really mundane gameplay, then unlock a bunch of cool mechanisms in the last third, including one moment that ties the story and gameplay together, which is where it hits the peak. Then the last 20-30 minutes is like the end of BioShock Infinite, just lots of walking while listening to a story.
They lean on the gimmick way too hard in the first 2/3rds without any reward whatsoever.

Last of Us would probably win. Especially if we do the voting in June, when pretty much anyone has the chance to play it! I won't be doing the GoTy award. Hardly played any games!
