The music during all of that, my god. I was jumping up and down like a kid during parts of that. That's why I love gaming so much, nothing in entertainment matches that level of connection between you and the game. It felt good for Zelda to be that level again, I know for many BOTW was that, nah this brought the magic back.

This was head and shoulders above BotW in practically everything.

I kinda miss old style Zelda.

I would like Twilight Princess and Skyward sword style only with a bigger over world with more stuff to do.

I only played the wind temple so far though in TOTK.

How many dungeons are there and are they deeper and more complex like older Zelda dungeons?

None quite reach the complexities of the older games but the lightning and water temples do have some challenging areas. There are five dungeons though the fifth one isnt really a conventional one.

I still want it back too, as you said. But TOTK sold me on the mechanics, it will be hard to go back to a really stiff Zelda. But I like the old games structure

Well I only played the wind Dungeon so far. But it felt like the beasts in BOTW.

Still wanting that deep dive into a satisfying Dungeon. How are the other dungeons in this game and how many of them are there?

Spoiler....spoilers....spoiler.....spoilers .......spoilers...spoilers down below......

Instead of unlocking multiple locks, you have to bring parts to one central location. The puzzle is just figuring out how to get them there. Plus theres a big lead up to the dungeon, so well, that's similar. Nyaa Cool ass boss battle, reminiscent of an early Switch release.

I'm loving the game now I am into it. the best part of the game are the Mechanics rigging up some ridiculous contraption that shouldn't work and mostly doesn't yet somehow you fudge it and get the win.

I made this monster truck to transport a troop of musicians and
I put the wheels on back to front by accident, but I could not be bothered changing it so instead I had to flip the control panel and try driving it in reverse.

The musicians were just sling about hanging off the sides and complaining that they're about to fall out, it was hilarious.

Also one of those sky shrines where I had to grab one of the gems and bring it back.

Only I couldn't use my power to grab the object as it was too far away. So I had two activated springs on a piece of metal and then two logs put vertically with the gem stuck right at the top of the logs.

I used a spike to stick it on the side of the mountain and it hang about and flopped up and down like a fishing rod.

Then from the other island I used my power to grab it. It's like that Star Trek thing where Kirk had to errr cheat to win.

Then there was a sky shrine Quest where I had to fly up grab the gem and then fly it down the problem being that on the way down I fell off my glider.

I looked above and cursed myself as the glider flew off into the distance before somehow remembering  in that split second but I could use recall to bring it back I waited until it was round about above me and then stopped time and it dropped down on top of me.

When I shoved The Rock in front of that shrine it was the happiest moment of my life. I said "here's your f****** Rock"

Yeah I love coming up with awkward solutions to problems in this game. You know it’s not the intended solution but damn if it just doesn’t work regardless.

the Mechanics are so fun.

I haven't done much of the depths so far as they are a bit of a pain in the butt.

So now I have a vehicle to ride I'm actually dropping it down several staggered cliffs. Then I retrieve it, flip it back over and keep on trucking.

I feel like this Zelda has mashed in some Halo style vehicles.

Oh my favourite thing at the moment is cannons, fusing them to weapons.

With my expanded once, zonai battery I can fire out 2 blasts before waiting on a recharge.

It's awesome to one shot annoying  enemies.

All that you described is the magic of this game. Those moments are one of a kind to everyone and everyone experiences their own versions of it. It's an amazing game.
