Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThe final level is the most hardest fucking bullshit level in mario history. This shits on Galaxy 2s final level.
THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE.

Need me to help you?

Oh that sucks.

Unlike some of the 2D NSMB games it's pretty easy to spot most green stars in a level, it's not a problem on the vast majority.
I finally got this last night and realized this is the multi-player focused one. It is still an enjoyable romp single player?
I played through it with the wife, and I feel that playing through it in co-op it loses some of its sheen. When you're playing alone you can enjoy it at your own pace and take it all in better. We beat the game, got most of the stars, but I can't recall much of it. I wish I had played it alone to be honnest.

I played it alone, fuck the multiplayer. It's probably the best platforming game ever made not called Galaxy.
Not much to complain about.
I played this solo just fine myself and had a great time with it. The Galaxy games are my favourite but I'd rank this right up there along with them.
Game doesn't hold a candle to the Galaxy games or Mario 64 for that matter. The ghetto 2d/3d hybrid thing they got going on with the mechanics is super lame.
I want a remake of mario 64. Not the DS one.
I think it was either Galaxy 2 or 3DWorld they had one of the levels re-created there. So good.

I wouldn't mind an updated port with a smoother frame rate and some tightening up of the controls, but I'd rather want a 3d Mario game that works off the mechanical excellence of 64 and Sunshine. Galaxy games are divine, but they regressed in terms of what you could do mechanically, and 3dland/world are over kill on top of having the worst game feel of any Mario platformer (albeit that's like being the ugliest super model, it's not exactly bad company). Especially with all the novelties they've tinkered with in the Galaxy games, that game would be bitchin as fuck.
