What, no SMG2 for GOTY?

No SMG2, way to become irrelevant.
Ask, there is no platformer only category, in that case SMG2 is an action/adventure game. Action/adventure is a monster umbrella category that fits many games.
Okay so despite it not being released DKC is nominated for best Wii game because it will be.... on the other hand also not yet released is Gran Turismo 5 but will be and it's not nominated for Racing or any other category.
Oh and no DQ9 for best handheld? Sure... way to to Spike.
I could spend the rest of my evening ridiculing this list but I do eventually want to go to bed in the next 6 hours.

Obviously, Spike VGAs is always garbage. Again, Super Mario Galaxy 2 didn't get a nomination for overall GOTY instead giving it to...ahem...Black Ops, God of War 3, and Halo Reach! They don't even consider GT5 or Starcraft 2. Oh and look, Dragon Quest IX is left out of the "best handheld game" category!
And where's Bayonetta in the "Best Action/Adventure Game" category?! 
Red Dead Redemption? SMG2? These aren't action/adventure games! Obviously, Spike doesn't know what the hell they're talking about!
