The zombies in Resident Evil 2 look so menacing and brutal. Oh man I love it.
January 25th 2019....I think January 25th was the release date for the PS1 game back in 1998.
Sony showed pretty much nothing but badass stuff, but I didn't like the way they set up their event at all this year. It was really weird.
They show Last of Us, then it's like wtf....an interview? Looks like they cut to the Gamespot interview panel, interviewing the Sony guy who was just hosting the event.....then 10 minutes later the event kicks back in again after the guy says they're not going to have any surprises this year and just focus on four games, then they proceed to show off all kinds of shit including surprises.
Honestly it was confusing. These companies try too hard at E3 sometimes, and they end up just looking odd.
I feel jaded and I'm tempted to show apathy. Instead I'll say that I have hope for the Spider-Man game. When I saw Electro it reminded me of the old PS1 game. The Last of Us Part II should be enjoyable but I don't feel enthuastic. Oh well.

I don't know if I'm jaded, but I was definitely apathetic.
Spider-Man combat looks fun, but I hated everything else about it. (And Batman's combat looks fun, but isn't actually that fun to play.)
The Last of Us 2 looked like The Last of Us. If the first half of the game isn't a glorified tutorial, then it should still be a huge improvement, even if the gameplay is pretty much identical.
Resident Evil 2 Remake does look good. But maybe that's just because I'm playing Silent Hill, so the next logical step from this is playing Resident Evil games.
EDIT:
Forgot about Control. Looked alright, but I'm interested due to Remedy.
Biggest disappointment was Death Stranding turning out to be a walking simulator.

I was watching a video yesterday, can't remember who but it was one of those E3 discussion vids. The guy said he is so interested in Death Stranding despite not knowing what in the hell is going on.
He brought up a good point in saying now that Kojima has total creative freedom it's like every insane idea he has is coming out in this one game and it's going to be like Metal Gear Solid 4 times 20 in the crazy department.
They didn't show any Days Gone either. Weird.
