I think they'll go down kicking and scrreaming. They're not going to just stop hosting it.
Keep it going. I love it.
Even though I ignore most of it these days.
It hasn't really been as enjoyable as it once was with someone always missing from the stage, but I still liked watching press conferences. Virtual presentations just don't seem to be as exciting, though.
I think they'll do it later in the year but at a smaller location, like San Diego conference centre. Too many of their members would have spent money on building sets etc... and at the end of the day ESA is for their members.
They'll still be able to exploit rubes into buying three day passes to sample energy drinks and have selfies with Tim Kardashion (3rd cousin).
Very disappointing but certainly understandable given the circumstances. I really hope it bounces back in a big way next year. It’s just not the same without out that big live audience there. For instance the whole Keanu Reeves reveal was just so much cooler with that audience.

The video's are not as exciting becuase there is nothing on the line in terms of the risks of live performance.
I just wish E3 was what it was in the 2000's -- and internet be damned there is no reason why it could not be other than the ESA lost control of it's members.
I learnt today that E3 is the main source of incme for the ESA, so it's definately going to come back.
With the ESA already in full contemplation mode trying to turn it into a PAX-like do you think they will bring it back in 2021? Also should they?
