Inspired by the sales age thread on Neogaf and discussions with Robio in the Epic Mickey thread, I present to you our very first betting thread.

So here is the first bet:

Guess the total sales from day of release yesterday to End of the year 2011.

Some rules:

• Everyone is welcome to place a bet
• The numbers must be in 10,000s. So you can say 100,000, 110,000, 120,000, but not 100,001, 101,000 and so on.
• You have 24 hours to place your bet (ending time 0:00 hour Iga time)
• You place your bet by replying in this thread

Prizes:

• The one whose number is closest wins.
• The winner picks avatar and signature for all the losers
• The losers will keep their sign of shame for one month

• You have until one day before NPD numbers are published (date not yet know) to get your numbers in
• You place your bet by replying in this thread

Here's a few other ideas for bets if anyone is interested:

• Release date for Dragon Quest X (idea courtesy of Iga)
• Release date for Mario Kart 7 (if anyone wants to be on something that will be announced soon)
• 3DS sales figures for the month of August
• NA and/or EU launch date for the Vita.

If anyone has other ideas toss them in.

How about for Epic Mickey we do first week sales since they'll be announced next week, and then one for the final sales for end of the year.
