The value you get for $5 or whatever is INSANE! So much content in this one episode. The story is like 2 hours but then you can play it in like 5 different modes, 3 difficulties, with hidden stuff everywhere and achievements. Then there is raid mode with over 60 levels in just this episode, could take 10 hours to see all of the first part of raid mode. Fighting flame zombies with energy shields is amazing!
Oh and I just downloaded Wesker!

It's the new try to play for the other team level?

It's a virtual recreation of the top gun volleyball scene. It's not but that would be cool.
If the guy with the Resident Evil avatar likes it, I'm convinced. Probably a good idea to buy the Season Pass, unless the next 4 episodes suck. What are the odds!

reviewers played the whole thing but can only talk about the first and they all encourage to get the pass cause it gets better.

Clearly one of the Diablo fanboys.

Nope, connected more to RE5. It does have raid levels from rev 1 and re6.
Raid is super deep now but takes a while to get going. The first missions are really boring and if people never played the first game they may think raid sucks from those missions. The next tier is much better and it starts to become really tough.

Did Raid take awhile to get going in 1? Because the first few misisons sucked there as well (the only ones I played).
Is raid basically just mercenaries from RE4? The usual horde mode type thing that every action game has these days?

It was faster than this. There were less levels so you started to see the different enemy types quicker. But yeah the easy mode still generally is meh, it's not until you get to the harder modes and are fighting bosses as if they were regular enemies.

No, it is a full on loot game. You can play as a 15 different charscters, each can be leveled up to 100, you earn skills as you play. Hunk can become invisible, I have yet to unlock others special skills but everyone has attributes that can be upgraded like health, gun damage, melee damage.
You go through over 200 levels taken from REv1, re 5 and 6 and rev2 and they play like small maps that have been ripped from those games and are populated by all kinds of monsters. These monsters are not just standard enemies, they also have levels and special attributes. So you may battle a level 10 axe dude that is on fire and is super quick. Some are giant sized, some posion you, some are invisible. One perk allows enemies to strip you of your weapon, one gives them an energy force field in the front. The missions are usually kill every thing to unlock the next section but some are timed, some have you protect a spot, some don't allow respawning.
as you play you find better weapons , which can be given perks as well. You can find rare weapons too. You can get a assault rifle and add freeze bullets to it, increase damage, increase stopping power and homing ammo for instance. Every missions has medals to earn depending on how well you perform. It is very deep.
Okay, sounds pretty cool. Don't want to play through the shit to get to the good part, though.
