Yes and no. I've seen a large amount of people that liked or disliked one of these two, while having vastly different opinions in regards to the rest. The point being that they are quite different, and Robio might just like XII givent he large amount of people that love X that hate it. Of course it's still a crap shoot, but that applies to most series wtih that many games. 
Nope. Not going to touch it. Unless someone at Square sends me a hand written apology for FFX I'm quite happy being done with the series.
