That base looks gorgeous. I sure hope we transition in the game to Outer Heaven.
I've also never played MGO before so I'm certainly looking forward to that as well. I kind of feel like it could consume major hours of my time.

In a way it makes sense that Hayter isn't there...he shouldn't have been in Snake Eater either. Its not Solid Snake, its Big Boss. I can only imagine that 99% of the people who played these games have no idea who is who or wtf is going on.
Anyway, fuck....only a month away.....I still have too many games I need to finish before this hits. And the Rareware Collection comes out tuesday.....fuck my life.

I think this is the first game I've pre-ordered since HOTD: Overkill and boy do I feel dirty.

I preordered it too....but I preorder everything. Only because I mostly buy games online and have them delivered nowadays. If I was still going to pick shit up at the game stores, I would never pre-order unless it was something special.
I pre order cause it gets me $10 off the already $12 off I get at BB so every big game is under $40
No preorder because I can't afford it ATM. It releases on my birthday so I'm trying to convince my wife that this would be the perfect bday gift.

Already been replaying the Metal Gear Solid games in preperation.
Will be double dipping, because I'm not waiting 2 weeks while everyone else gets to play it on the PS4, and then on the PC because glorious PC.

Well it was the most interesting online shooter out there. It's not all about shooting people in the face. You have all the MGS moves so hiding and being smart with how you move around. There are cardboard boxes all around so you never know if someone is in one. The best mode was eveyone versus snake, snake has a all his gadgets and stuff and he needs to take out all enemies which are players are basic soldiers. It's like playing MGS with human AI.
MGO DELAYED a month!!!!! Coming Oct. 6 to consoles and January on PC.

I have zero faith in Konami. They are probably making it full of microtransactions. I am shocked they will even allow it to come out.
The bases will be live day one and The PC version is now coming out on the same day as the consoles.

Well we are almost there, one month till the gaming event of the year, oh screw that, of this generation! Let’s get hyped up and celebrate the end of an era as this is the end of Kojima with Metal Gear (and basically the end of MGS) . If you want to do a series play through this is the thread to talk about it. Talk about all the highs, the controversial lows, the overall weirdness of the most consistently great game franchises of all time.
There will be loads of news coming as we reach release. Let’s keep this as spoiler free as possible. Now official trailers and videos I will post but as the reviews and impressions hit they must be spoiler tagged! No open info on bosses or on any story details. MGO is fine.
Gamescom is next week and we will get a demo on mother base. Look at the size of that mother base!!! Hopefully we get more info on how the invading gameplay works.
