I had an ex girlfriend of mine (who was of course crazy) after our break up save up MONTHS worth of bloody pads and stuff my mailbox with them some time late at night. Not the nicest thing to stick your fucking hand in first thing in the morning. Fucking bitch. And yes I usually just stick my hand in the mailbox and grab whatever without looking. This was like 10 years ago and to this very fucking day I always look first now o_0

This isn't even the craziest girl I have had the pleasure of being with sadly.

Australia has poisonous spiders in letterboxes. America has used pads.

They're both red backs I suppose.

Well let's face it, Canada is kind of like a country-wide version of Colorado; Beautiful, but not much to do. So people are much more apt to lose their fucking minds and go bat shit crazy, like these women here. Its nothing wrong with Godmode (most likely) just women who are products of their environment. lol

I've always found backwoods women to be absolutely insane, honestly.

Finished. I really liked Adas campaign a lot. The crossbow is for sure my favorite weapon in the game, that thing is badass. Story somewhat ties together ok but it is nothing to write home about. Overall the game is a great action experience and probably an 8/10 or so. It is not RE5 and certainly no RE4 but it is good in its own right.

I disliked Chris's chapter 1 and 2, and Jakes chapter 1 and 2 but really liked the rest of the game outside some minor camera problems. Some of the setpieces and action sequences are just so damn good! Another plus is the amount of content is really nice. I think it was close to 30 hours for me to play through everything here, I also found the game fairly challenging on the normal difficulty which was a big plus for me in tthis modern day and age of games holding your hand all the time.

My suggestions for making RE7:

=========================

Bring back the weapon upgrading! It was a lot of fun, everyone enjoyed it, it was the most missed thing out of this game. However keep the new skill system too. Have both! More customization is always welcome and I think you could make both work together nice.

Pick a direction and stop trying to please everyone. This is a pure action shooter through and through with some horror elements. Leon's campaign had some good atmosphere but there is no reason you couldn't have that elsewhere in the game too. It wasn't different enough from the main game ot be "survival horror" just streamline the game in one direction. Have certain chapters be more horror and atmospheric to pace the game naturally.

Proper tutorial please. I just beat this game and found out from a friend that you can dodge roll in this game. Cool. That would have made some of the bosses easier! Thirty hours and it never tells you how to do this. There are probably a bunch of stuff I missed. Make a proper fucking tutorial (skippable of course for those who don't want it) you have NO fucking instruction manual and a piss poor introduction that tells you how to run (hold a button duuur) and slide (which you have to do like 3 times in the whole fucking game)

Bring back pause please. Sometimes the phone rings, sometimes the cat wants out, sometimes I need to use the bathroom, sometimes I have ot scratch my copiously large hairy man sack. I don't know why you can't pause in RE6 and I don't fucking CARE. Bring it back its a minor thing FFS.

Stop trying to shoehorn melee into this series. It sucks. It is half assed at BEST. This is a shooter, stick with that.

This goes fucking twice for stealth stuff. The few stealth segments here were HORRIBLE guys, ditch these.

Jake is an unlikable wanker. Forget he exists and go back to the fucking drawing board for RE7 (this is never gonna happen)

Camera work. Its not good enough. I donèt know how to fix it, but im also not paid to make games for a living-- so fix it! It is annoying. Also move the camera back some too, the characters take up too much of the screen.

I actually think they did a decent job of the multiple campaigns and character paths, I wouldnt mind seeing this style in the next game, I think it can be tweaked and perfected even more yet. It was interesting to play as different people I liked that.. Keep this but make it even better!

Last but certainly not fucking least:

NO FUCKING SNOWSTORM LEVELS. YOU ASSHOLE.

I just beat this game and found out from a friend that you can dodge roll in this game.

How does this happen. Damn that is very important. And Jake, where you doing all his moves? Would you lock on to an enemy across a room, run at him while quick dodging left and right to avoid gunfire then do all sorts of awesome moves that wipe out 4 enemies all at once.

You can pause the game if you choose Offline instead of Xbox live.

Well I just finished the game and I had a very excellent time. It was an epic blockbuster of a game that had a few rough spots but they didn't detract much from the overall experience. I commend Capcom for putting so much variety and content. The way all the campaigns intersected was pretty well done and the way it intersected with others online was pretty cool too. Really the only thing that bothered me was that they didn't put an instruction manual in with the game. Overall I give this game a 9 out of 10.

You said Brad was pathetic for not knowing how to roll after 10 hours. Godmode went 30 hours. cheeky What say you!

I say Capcom should have had a tutorial.

I had no idea you could lock onto enemys or dodge gunfire. WTF. I kept getting shot onto my back most times I tried to use melee. To many wide reaching varied mechanics in the game with no tutorial or intruction manual means me going through the whole game not knowing this stuff. I think this is the biggest flaw of the game. Am I an outlier here? I mean I can't be the only one who went through this game not knowing how to do thsi stuff. If I am I want a special medal made that says "Sucks at videogames" I guess.

Oh also you have to double team roundhouse ninja kick open every fucking door you come across. JUST OPEN THE GODAMN DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON.

After 30 hours it became comical, I would laugh everytime I came up to a door.

No GME it's not your fault. They did not include a manual nor put one in the game and it had a shitty tutorial. The reason I wanted to play online with you was to show you all these moves. I waned to make sure you see how you can be playing.

Replaying chapters on pro right now, this time with all online modes enabled. The online integration of this game is downright amazing. I was doing Chris Chapter 3 and had an intersection with a group of players playing Jake chapter 2. Now the segment with the helicopter has a whole new layer to it. Then later I entered a Hunt section where players invaded my game, the game became way more intense. These modes integrate seamlessly with your campaign. I wish I played with all these modes on the first time.
Seeing how almost no reviews mention this I guess most reviewers didn't have these modes on either, or it was impossible to find connections since so few people had the game at the time.

Yeah I love how they integrated the online in this game. It's so cool running into other human players controlling the characters you played or will play in their respective campaigns. It's also done quite well too because you each get you're own items and if someone dies or quits the characters switch right over to the AI.

Bumping this because its relevant again.  I had to google how to dodge roll as well. Nyaa.

jakes campaign is getting good, but the first two chapters were kinda bland. It really picked up once I started sneaking around bats. That was very cool.  It's also something I noticed,  Capcom isn't afraid to try different types of gameplay.  This game never gets old because you're always trying out new things.

I think this has great multiplayer potential (foolz).

I don't know where the shitting on this game comes from. It's solid.

Little easy on Normal.

Invntory control is ASSSSSS. But besides that, not fucking bad.

Yeah, but for the inventory control it's on par with 5. Given, I have only played the Leon levels so far.
