I'm not really feeling the Zelda game yet. To me this looks too much of what you'd get if you'd asked a fan to envision zelda.

With the 3rd party support that's already onboard, Nintendo's 1st party games, the DS' current brand value, and a 6 month to a year headstart I'm sure Nintendo will squash Sony in the handheld market once again.

Yeah, that seems like the plan. Wonder what the wii succesor strategy is.

How well would that work?

The motion controls they added r supposed to be fairly accurate... so u could control for example an FPS game's camera just by moving the 3DS in front of you up, down, left, right , etc. Turn around to look behind you? Add the 3D and this is basically portable VR, depending on the sensitivity settings and game?

Stick is the cursor you move the DS around you to control the camera. So if you want to look up you point the DS up...

Stick is the character control Nyaa cursor could be fixed in the center with such controls, unlike the Wii.

ok - but do you want to be shifting the ds around that much? That would be crazy for something fast paced.

You can still use the touch screen instead I imagine. All up to the game of course.

This 3DS is packing in a lot of features.

Two screens, 3D screen, 3D cameras, touch screen, DS backwards compatibility, motion sensor, gyros, better hardware, analog stick, persistent online, I'm guessing SDHC support up to 32 gbs like Wii.

The dogs have fur shading in Nintendogs. In 3D Grinning

You still have the touch screen for Metroid Prime Hunters like control.
