I think I've found what may be the best feature of the Dingoo. Through AV cables it can connect to the TV. Since it plays GBA games so well it's essentially like having my old GBA Player again except that you can play with a controller that's better mapped to it than the GameCube controller.
And of course you can still play the other systems' games on it which look and sound as good as they do on the handheld (which is sometimes, good sometimes not), but I've always enjoyed playing handhelds on a larger screen so this now officially puts the Dingoo over top. It's now totally worth the investment.

I'm not sure about that. There's some homebrew groups out there http://www.dingoo-digital.com/ making new emulators for it and adjusting existing ones as well as background themes etc. I know they've done pretty well with the Master System, Game Gear, and the GBC . There's other ones too. At some point I may look into it, but for now I'm pretty content with the functional emulators on it.
