Night trap! That's what I was trying to think of. What rubbish that Sega CD was

Maybe this is his retirement package. What would you want to do more in your retirement years than boss people around to make any random idea you come up with?

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThis is as bad as that Pac Man gba to gc connectivity thing. I'm more pessimistic on Nintendo after this E3 then I was before.
Live gameplay for Xenoblade Chronicles X (WiiU) on Treehouse stream soon

I guess so. He has earned it.
There is still hope, there is Star Fox. Watch star fox get mech mode and camera tower defense mini missions.
Miyamoto is hung up on this idea of making stuff the family in the living room will enjoy. The wii was a bubble, it worked, it is over miyamoto. You are not going to recreate it. Time to focus on the games.

You haven't played 3D World right? These segments are easy to control, I think it only used the one stick too, you just moved the pad about for a different perspective. Simple but deep, very good gameplay. Captain Toad will rock.
I'm glad I missed this. I might not check the video out later.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
WAIT A MINUTE?!
Do you mean people actually --LIKED-- Nintendo's presentation...?!
Other than a brief glimpse of Zelda... WHY? HOW?
There was literally next to nothing new or interesting... and quite a few games were missing...
How did this show improve their position in any way whatsoever?!
Toad is a mildly annoying puzzle game. X looks worse than it did. Zelda was nothing at all other than a shot of an overworld... and it's cell-shaded... not at all like it was first shown... Yarn Yoshi we knew about and not many people cared for Kirby's Epic Yarn here... Don't know many of us that care about Kirby... That Squid game looks god-awful...
I don't get it.
Dvader said:Nintendo "conference" was very well done. I massive improvement over last years which had major issues. This one worked well from the start. They were self aware, they made fun of themselves., They used the format to make it as entertaining as possible. There was no fluff at all, just games games games. They made sure to flesh out the holiday line up. Hyrule, Smash, Captain Toad, Bayonetta 2 is the best first party holiday lineup of the three. They showed gameplay of a lot of cool games, some big retail games, some smaller games.
AND THEY SHOWED ZELDA HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! Not just any zelda, the zelda game to end all zelda games!!!! That is the surprise of the show, The megaton no other conferences had. Nintendo easily wins the conferences.
Grade: A
I love ya bro.
Nice recaps too on all conferences.
bugsonglass said:these are not even worthy of being on something like Nintendoland. they must be dreaming if they think they can release these as full games
In Miyamotos defence, Iwata did just drop on him, in about February out of nowhere after a bad financial report - an order to show stuff at E3 spefically to justify the Wii U pad.
X looks fucking amazing. In one camera rotation they just made all the environments in Assasins Creed 4 look feeble. Sure the characters faces are PS2 era, but in actual gameplay the scope and size of the gameworld work in the same way the original game did.
Holy shit! At the part with the running beasts.
What the fuck am I looking at!!!!!!!!!!!! These rock formations!!!! I'm ROCK hard.
Fuuuuuuuuccccck. Amazing.

THEY SHOWED ZELDA! What the hell is wrong with you.
