Well can't deny it (well I could and it would be pretty fun), Sonic looks good. Probably will pick it up at the end of the day but I still want to hold out for a couple reviews.

Seriously. I feel like those people crowded around the Chilean mine waiting for the miners to come out...
Sonic 4 would've been so perfect as a $10 game. $15 is a bit steep for a game that can be beaten real quickly.
I don't know how long Sonic 4 is compared to original 2D classics, but if they're the same length than I guess $15 isn't too bad if you see it that way.

From what I can gather I think there is a lot of pressure from MS to have $15 as "the price" for premium releases, so maybe that's why it costs what it does.
Everyone is guessing the game is the same length as one of the old ones, in which case I'll pick it up. Same reason I am pre-ordering Duke Nukem, I just have to see for myself.
I'm with Ask. At $15 I'm not buying until there's a lot of very good reviews out there. The IGN one was good but didn't exactly blow me away. And if a lot of the first level is just from the old games, I see even less reason to pay the premium price. I'll just wait for Colours.
1up gave Sonic 4 a B.
Some things to be concerned about. They said the frustrating fights, occasionaly puzzles (that probably slow the gameplay down) and bad music hurt it. They even said that it doesn't best Sonic Rush...which makes me scratch my head a bit.
But they said for every one fault there are five other things the game does right.
But I'll trust Vader's impressions more than these reviews.

Well I almost downloaded Sonic 4 and then chickened out at the last minute. I ended up picking up Super Fantasy Zone on the VC and Learning With the PooYoo's Episode 3.
