The other two Marvel alternate costumes there are Steve Rogers (Captain America's real identity and current costume) and Iron Patriot (Norman Osborn aka the Green Goblin when he took Iron Man's armor and pretty much controlled the free world).

X-Men 2 The Clone Wars was the best X-Men game.

Oh man I totally loved Mutant Apocalpse, I played the hell out of that game. It would be awesome if Capcom would re-release that game.

I still have it.  I'm not a big Marvel fan, but it stands on it's own as a good game.

I'm a big Marvel fan plus I loved the game in general so for me it was like heaven.

So what are the current favorites that everyone is playing with? Obviously I've spent most of my time with the Marvel characters and my team of choice is Task Master (he let's me call him "Tasky"), X-23, and Hulk.

Okay when Leo gets better we'll all play and you'll all be amazed that I'm actually half-way competitive.

I can probably play the PS3 version. I think. I just don't wanna have an excuse...

Lemme try.

I look forward to a lot of installations.  I guess 160 gigs is enough to install most games on the PS3, right?

The PS3 isn't like the 360 where you can install any game you like. Some games offer installation, most do not. 160 gigs will be WAAAY more than enough!

What's the console of choice here?

I've got a PS3 version, but I may also be getting a (free!) 360 copy soon.

Also, Wesker is a fucking boss online. My favourite "FUCK YOU" to any maggot Sentinel players.

I think we're leaning PS3, but that could just be me talking. Leo and I both have it on that.

Before this thread completely goes to the wayside let me give some detailed impressions on the game. And Leo, when you get better and are ready to play let me know, and I'll go out and re-rent the game.

Overall it's a solid fighter. It caters more to the fandoms rather than to fans of fighting games, though in my book that's a good thing. There are a number of easy to pull off combos and when I fought online I rarely found myself overwhelmed by a noticably more skilled opponent. Don't get me wrong, I had my ass handed to me, but I was always able to fight a way to come back and keep things a little competitive. I credit that more to the design of the game, rather than any skill I may have.

The characters are all very balanced and unique. There are no palatte swaps here with slightly different skill sets. The closest you get is maybe Akuma and Ryu and there's plenty of difference in between them. Plus overall I think a good job was done in making sure every character's moves are appropriate for the characer. With only a few exceptions, (Taskmaster rarely uses his bow) Capcom really studied the characters before designing them.

My only real issue with the game are the backgrounds (actually it's the same gripe I had with TvC). They are too few in number and most of them are pretty boring. Asgard is pretty cool on one hand, but Metro City on the otherhand is bland as hell. It's not a big strike, but in a game that really strives for fan service, this was an area that could have used more work.

Overall, totally worth picking up.
