Tried to make a level you felt could be in SMB3.

Thank you!  To be honest, I think the levels I made in the first Mario maker surpass what I've made so far, but I'm trying to make better levels.

This thread really makes me want to pick this game up.  These levels sound really cool.  I’d like to see someone’s video.

Agreed.  But then I remember how little I actually played of the original and how it didn't do much for me.  And I also just downloaded 100+Gigs of Xbox Game Pass games.

The good people at Arby's created their own Mario Maker 2 level. Enjoy!

Well that’s a bit of clever marketing. I’ll have to check it out later.

Arby's social media posts are fucking brilliant. They tapped into the gaming/geek/pop-culture world in a huge way and created something pretty impressive.

Hmm. Interesting. I seem to recall them having a kind of back and forth with Jon Stewart when he was host of The Daily Show and it was kind of funny. I may have to check out their social media accounts.

Poor Arby's has been the butt of jokes for a really long time. first on The Simpsons, and then The daily Show. And that's somewhat deserved. In the 90s they were pretty awful place. I remember going there and getting a roast beef sandwich and the meat was grayish greenish in color.

Anyway, their food is actually pretty decent these days. And whoever runs their social media account makes video game characters out of boxes and rappers. It's neat.

Now will someone please check out that goddamn level and tell me what the hell it is?

Played the Arby’s stage and it wasn’t that bad. It’s done using the Super Mario Bros. 3 theme, enemies, etc. Starts off with a short overworld bit, Arby’s spelt out in coins, and a few enemies. Go down the pipe into the “meat dungeon” with MEAT spelled in coins. Some platforming over lava, riding the skull platforms while avoiding cheep-cheeps.

The idea of a meat dungeon kind of scares me.

I played a few of your levels.  They are lots of fun and inspiring.  I'm currently working on an automatic level, but these require a great deal of patience to do.  Maybe more than I have.

Here is my first attempt at an automatic level.  It's pretty short and I'm just experimenting here and of course, no control necessary since the level moves Mario.
