Yeah, I knew that. I'm definitely not double dipping on this. It seems solid, but not that good.
I'm contemplating getting it. I played it a bit on GameCube, but had the same trouble with it you are. Maybe Game Club 2?!
...or maybe not...
Vader and I are doing one at the moment with Mass Effect 2. He just doesn't know it yet!
...and I am sure he has surpassed me by now by quite a few hours!
It's a decent game. I had just made it to the Slaughthouse when I lost interest. I keep meaning to go back and finish it since I'm more that halfway through the game (I think).
(Come to think of it, I still need to finish Paper Mario: TTYD too. )

Yeah, let's Game Club BG&E. That's the only way any of us will ever finish it!
I finished BGE years ago and have no plans to revisit it. Once you guys finish, I'll share a pretty funny story...a moment I shared with a former student of mine.
Just put in the GCN version. I forgot this game was letterbox-only, and not widescreen. Zooming out the black bars makes the game look pretty rough on my HDTV.
EDIT: Now I remember why I lost interest. I got stuck! Zelda-clones, meh.
Oh shit. This is another Zelda? I don't know if I can endure more puzzles and backtracking so soon after finishing Darksiders.
Oops!
I thought Darksiders inspired you to play another Zelda style game!
I really liked BGE, but I did think it was lacking a tad in design and variety. The pacing wasn't the best either. The presentation and everything else made it a great experience overall, though.
However, I must note, LTTP may only reference this:

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileAaaah. A Link to the Past. The only Zelda game I played somewhat seriously.
At any rate, I'm sticking to the game for as long as I can. Hopefulyl it'll be really short and it won't overstay its welcome.
MAMMAGO!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, 1.5 hours in, just finished my first task and I'm about to become a member of the resistance.
I'm at the factory, trying to wrap up a report. The game is good, but not great and far from the orgasm-inducing experience its most rabid fans would make you believe it is. It has some serious camera issues, combat is simplistic, and stealth parts are excessive, boring and laughably easy, and nobody outside the lead character has any charm. Maybe Secundo, but he's a horrid stereotype collection, like everyone else in this game, lol. Do they expect me to care about an unappealing swine?
I just started (again) a BGE playthrough. Even though it's a fairly short game (that's what i've heard anyway) I can't seem to bring myself to stick to it. Hopefully this will be it.
I'm playing the Steam version, and in my previous playthroughs I have never reached beyond the part where you fix the hovercraft with those jamaican rhinos or something. I'll let you guys know how things go down. From what I've seen of the game, the most interesting thing about it seems to be the animal database you can build with your pictures. And that shouldn't really be taken as a compliment.
