So Sumo Digital made the best LBP game? I'd love to try it but I would like to finish the other two. The floaty jumps in the first one turned me off to the series.
Everything you have typed has now been recorded in your voice and will be edited into the LBP podcast to air on Valentine's Day.
Wtf how did I get here. So weird. So now what...
Well travo like one level so far has made use of the new character so yeah...
Ravenprose said:*farts* Will that be recorded as well?
A narrator says, "Raven just flatulated ."

I dunno man. There have been some real dogs in the VGP history and I have the source files to prove it.

Yeah, but none were devoted entirely to LBP3.
So I finished the story and well this game is way too shot. It has the fewest levels of any LBP game. Plus those awesome new characters with new physics and powers, you play them in 4 levels...
The first LBP was the only one where the devs cared about taking the gameplay the furthest they can and making an actual solid platforming game. Since then the story mode seems like a giant tutorial for new concepts. I guess they expect the community to take the next step and really do complex level design with these powers, yeah that usually does not happen.
The game is also the most buggiest. I got it when it was fixed, apparently it was a disaster before. It seems like the least polished LBP game, including portables.
Shame cause it has the best tools and ideas.
BTW I take full credit for the new podcast, my LBP thread brought people back to the podcast section. You are welcome.
LBP3 looked like a poor cash grab of a LPB game. It was not media molecule making the game but sumo digital. It looked like past games, it seemed to add little.
Well LBP3 is as big a jump as LBP2, mainly because of the new characters which have DIFFERENT PHYSICS!! One character transforms into a small meat boy like character that runs and jumps with perfect precision!!!! But most of the levels still use sack boy and his floatiness. I wonder if the community has been taking advantage of these new jump physics, I will have to see.
Sack oh now has a pocket to store items, these include a hat to attach to rails and a device to activate pre set portals. The puzzle possibilities are endless. Plus with the pocket you can store items meaning you can create a Zelda like adventure where you gain items as you play.
the variety is ridiculous. Worlds now have a hub and you explore these small levels and find NPCs with side quest levels, secrets are scattered all over, I love the structure. One level is all top down, my mind is racing with making a Zelda level. One level has reversible gravity. There is a new mechanic in every level, much like lbp2 but I feel these mechanics can drastically change the game.
This is a gem of a game, every new level is a mystery and a joy to explore.
