I say just go with the system that you have the most games for. Since Leo already had a PS3 for a long time, just continue to get multi-plat games for it so he can mount up a nice collection. The 360 should just be used for exclusives, XBLA games, and online shooters, if he's into multiplayer shooting.

Holy Crap!
Through the course of the game in Mass Effect, I have collected EVERY:
- Prothean Artifact
- Asari Writing
- League Medallion
- Salarian ID Tag
- Turian Emblem
- Light Metal
- Heavy Metal
- Rare Earth
- Gas
- Keeper
Yeah. I pretty much found ALL the Scannable/Collectible Stuff! I've explored every nook and cranny of this game!
Good Deal?

Just recorded my 150th save in Mass Effect and entered (presumably) the last area of the game.
I may finish my first 360 game today!
This also may be the first time in a looong time where I pretty much stuck with one game consistently from start to finish!
Also there is some Mass Effect 2 dlc on sale this week so if you're interested now would be a good time to get it. Overlord and Kasumi's Stolen Memories are both going for $5.
I popped in Mass Effect 2 for a few reasons. (1) To install it on the HD so it is ready and waiting for when I want to play it. (2) I was curious to see how the importing worked.
I'm not planning on playing it right now, but I played the prologue just to get a feel for the game and to see some of the changes.
Wow! Looks to be higher-definition overall. Lighting effects seem to be dramatic. Plays MUCH more like a FPS. Upgradeable stats seem to be minimalized. Control is a bit more responsive too, which is necessary now as the auto-aiming seems to be nearly gone! That's fine though! There's still conversation trees, still have hackable terminals, wall safes, data-pads, etc...
The Story picks up not too much after the events of Part One... Then skips ahead two years for reasons obvious to anyone who's played the game(s).
BioWare is absolutely incredible! I can't wait to dig into this game --BUT-- I will wait! I have a slew of other games to try and I don't want to get sick of ME... This is a series EVERY gamer needs to experience and enjoy! I am SOOO glad I didn't miss it!
I'm going to move onto Gears of War 1 now. We'll see what I pick up after that!
...and did I mention the story-line in both Mass Effect 1 and 2 are top-notch? ME1, at least, wasn't overly complicated but it was compelling enough to have me play the game almost uninterrupted from start to finish!
ME1 wow...
...BUT...
...the way ME2 starts off HOLY CRAP WOWSERS WAH-WOW-WOW ! ! !
INCREDIBLE!
Who but BioWare would have such an incredible plot twist at the BEGINNING of a game ? ! ?
Hey Leo. In case you're still playing Alan Wake, the last piece of DLC "the Writer" just released on the marketplace. Saw it on GAF and the IGN review.

Thanks but I haven't even started it yet!
I've moved on to Gears of War 1!
I don't anticipate playing Alan Wake any time soon!
Wow! This game is tougher than I expected! I've NEVER died in a shooter as many times as I've died in the first few Checkpoints of GoW!
It could be that I REFUSE to play the game on Casual Difficulty, as I HAVE had experience with games like this before --AND-- I have gotten more than a few Headshots in my day, as the 'Hardcore' Difficulty level suggests...
I guess Gears wouldn't be Gears if it didn't make it NECESSARY to use the Cover System and keep a close eye on your Buddies behinds! *Never a problem!*
Playing this game is QUITE the sharp contrast to the Aim-Assisted RPG, Mass Effect!
Not gonna give up though!

I'm so happy you're having a good time with the ME games. Easily on my top 5 games of this generation, and without a doubt my favorite franchise in gaming.

You never played Bayonetta? I thought you had it for the PS3.
Anyway, great game. I'm sure you know it's best on the 360.
I also recommend Trials HD. It's still my favorite game on XBLA. And Hydro Thunder which is a fun racing game.

Oh God Trials HD. So addictive and yet so cruel and unforgiving. Like an evil mistress that surprisingly jams a huge dildo up your butt while giving you the best blowjob of your life.
Can I answer this one too?
It's really dependent on the type of game. If it's a rhythm game or fighter, it's almost always PS3 for me - rhythm games because I have the kits for it (exception being singing games, which I can play on both), and I don't like the 360 for the types of fighters that I play. That being said though, I don't particularly care what version of a game I get - if it's on either console, I'll get it for whatever.
If there's a significant difference between how the games run though, then that'll tip it in the better running version. But otherwise, I really don't care.
