So any good stories you have to share. The beauty of this game is that you carve out your own path, no ones adventure will be the same. I went east found the major towns, got some great upgrades and made it to the beach at the edge of the world. From there I took a raft to an island far off in the distance cause I wonder what delights an island like that could hold. What I got when I landed blew me away, it's pure gameplay genius which takes everything you learned so far and tests you in a fun way.

I don't want to spoil this if you haven't been so don't read further, but I have to share the crazy stuff I did to stay alive.

ISLAND SPOILERS

So they steal all your gear and you have to find three orbs guarded by enemies, one a giant. So the first time I was killed by this octorok that hid as a treasure chest, very dark souls. Next time I was prepared and gathered resources one by one. I wanted to stay back and avoid confrontation so I got octorok balloons, attached them to a bomb, used my leaf to blow the floating bomb toward the enemy camp and detonate it killing a few. I was able to grab a weapon and finish the rest.

Next I climbed the mountain where a bunch of enemies were in ruins and I was able to sneak into a chest and get a good bow. Now there is a blue moblin who is too strong and could kill me in a hit, lucky for me a thunderstorm started and I had metal swords. So I dropped it, used the magnet to float it next to enemies and have lightning fry then. I dropped the sword near the moblin who picked it up and countintued to get struck while I killed him with arrows. Now I have much better weapons and a place to cook.

I made some buff potions, got my hearts buffed to 9. Got defense up and went to take on the giant. I was doing great till one hit took all my extra hearts away and I was back to four which would be an instant kill if I get hit. So I changed tactics and ran into the jungle, it grabbed a tree, in out of arrows, but I have some red chi jelly which explodes into fire if struck. So I drop some jelly and a bomb, run away and when the giant walked over it I blew up the bomb, the fire engulfed the tree which stunned the giant and I was able to run under it and attack and kill him.

Later I found there was another hill with loads of dynamite and boulders I could have simply launched at the giant. The amount of ways to solve any situation is so breathtaking.

So that's my story of the island, I'm sure you will have a totally different one.

Wow finally found this post again. You did things I didn't even think of. Baloon float bombs using korok leafs? Rigging up fire chuchi bomb traps? I started on the cliff with bomb barrels but with no way to ignite them. I picked them off one by one. Accidentally knocked the boulder off the cliff so now I have this giant coming at me. I drop down and hang onto the cliff face to hide. Then I noted where he ascended the mountain and lay bomb barrels there, hoping to throw a flaming spear at it once I had his attention. But a couple of bombs obeyed the rules of gravity and rolled down the f-ing cliff. So when I got his attention again I rolled a bomb barrel down the cliff. It went through his legs and I was left helpless. I eventually uses magnesis to smash a giant metal crate into his face. The cliff with the enemy and the chest I went pure Splinter cell on, picked them off with arrows. I noted the lightning storm I wanted to throw this metal claymore at the big guys but whenever I went for it lightning hit me. You used magnesis? Ffs gg. THAT island was magic, I didn't die once though 😁

Whoa, what a run!  I was finally able to get the Master Sword.

Then I got brave and decided to battle some guardians.  Boom, one down, two down, three down.  The timing was clicking with me.  So I decided to go further and snuck into Hyrule Castle.

Hyrule Castle spoilers....

This Castle is massive and fucking loaded with cool ass weapons and shields.  It's also fun as hell once you are inside.  I found a secret passage in the library to the docks.  There is a shrine so I can warp back at any time.  It also looks like you can enter the Castle through a secret water passage and it's easier than how I got in. Really, this Castle rocks. When you guys get there, look everywhere.  There's cool items and lore that really bring to light the relationship between Zelda and the king.  I got the heck out of there because the guardians were getting pretty intense the higher I went.  Btw, the master sword is rated a 30, except in the Castle it's a 60.

I really can't explain how much I'm enjoying this.  This game really hits the spot and it's something I haven't experienced in gaming in many years.

It's perfect.  I left because I want to finish the other dungeons first, but it was hard to leave.

Wow. There seriously has to be an easier way to beat that boss in the Divine Beast Vah Naboris because I had an incredibly annoying time fighting him, just near the end mind you.

Went to zoras domain that was epic. Beat lynel, I had a couple of powerful clubs so he wasn't too difficult. The battle to get into ruta was epic. I want to use those kind of superpowers in an action game. Now I'm stuck in ruta, there is this fucking chest sandwiched between two stone blocks. Even using stasis I cant move them or if I do they just fall back down too fast to open the chest. Help?

Someone cut down a tree log right over a cliff, put stasis on it, banged on it a few times with a sledgehammer then jumped on top for a wild ride.

I know about the trunk. What's bothering me is that chest. I cant destroy the stone plates and if I use stasis and smash it it just falls back down too fast to open the chest.

You put stasis on one stone when it has moved then go to the chest. You may have to go to the bottom of the wheel.  I can't exactly remember.

Yes, Mipha's Grace just refills your hearts if you fall like a glorified fairy. It'll take about fifteen minutes to refill.

So pointless. I got a frost blade, fire blade, special trident, lyne blade and all sorts of other stuff. Anyone else save high power weapons for larger enemies? I need some more inventory slots.
