Well I hate to say this but DUH look at the min specs, your PC is two decades out...
The crap in your Steam collection should work fine, though.

Those are the spces for my graphics card.
My computer is 10 years old. I guess at some point I put an older card in it (maybe when the integrated "card" died).
This has been a big wake-up call for me. Buying a new PC has become a much higher priority than it was.

Did you try Half-Life or TF classic?
^I know those work, I have installed them before (I have the half-life anthology or whatever it is called on disc).

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileWell, first of all, it was a big wake-up call. I really had not idea that the card was THAT old. Secondly I thought (naively), "Small indy game, should be no problem".

Did I also mention it runs with the Source engine? So it can run at 60 FPS on 80-90% of the gaming PC's in the world on max settings.
I got Bastion today (aspirational purchase for new PC).
Hey Steamers, is there a way to see how big the download will be before purchase? I notice that some games will list the amount of space needed on the HDD post-install, which gives a general idea, but there seems to be no way to determine the size of the download until after you have purchased the game.
Any help?
I've only used Steam twice, so I have no clue. On the other hand, excellent call on Bastion. That was the whole reason I got a Steam account. Great great game.
Oh fuck... I was reading a post from KillerJuan and re-activated my Steam account.
The only thing holding back my wallet at this point is that I'll have to download the games (and I don;t get much internet per month).
First of all, I am very impressed with Steam. I have not seen it for a long while, the client is much better than it was.
Second of all, any tips for small games I can try? I've got Dear Esther so far.
