I'm with Leo on the U, except for Pikmin 3. If they release it with that, I will have to get it. Otherwise I really couldn't care less. I am not even convinced that they have honestly been making Pikmin 3 though. They've lied about it too many times. So I guess, like Archie says, Nintendo games can make the difference ... BUT it remains to be seen whether Nintendo can or is still willing to make them like they used to.
On the switch from last generation when Nintendo chose to move sideways in terms of technological advances, as opposed to going forward with the other big two, it was fair enough because they had something different with the controller and it carried the imagination of a lot of designers and that of the gaming public. Now it seems like they are releasing a console that just about matches current gen technology ... six years later than the other two ... and is finally starting to get multiplat releases, except it will get them several months later - if at all. Seriously, what's to be excited about?
I will most likely pick one up at launch PURELY out of habit. If I have to stand online over-night or some crap like that to get one though... Nope!
