Does the Merchant say "What are you buyin'?"
I am hoping he got a new job somewhere.
"This shit will fuck you up." Voice sampled.
Otherwise in text when you dont buy you get "Stop wasting my time prick."

Remind me of what mission that is? Is it where you follow the umbrella guy?

it's important not to get the turning wrong. one or two wrong turns and that's it. also one thing i did wrong the one time i failed it was when you have to throw flame i was pressing that down instead of tapping so make sure you tap to throw flames.

Oh that mission.
Just tap repeatedly till you out of flame. And dont hit the barriers.
WOW
Above: Also, this is pretty cool
You can always find a high-end Turismo sitting around for the taking in a driveway near Mikhail Faustin’s house in GTA IV. What’s weird is that there’s an identical car that’s always in the same spot in Chinatown Wars.
Or, in case you can’t quite see it…
i have enjoyed chinatown wars so much that it's made me wonder if i should have tried harder with the 3D games but i don't know if it works that way. i know they've practically only just released it but i really hope rockstar do more gtas for ds. they can't do them soon enough as far as i'm concerned.
a good friend of mine has been playing this game to death even more so than i have. he's over 80% completion now. showed me some great missions which you open later once you find the 2 lions etc. awesome awesome game. don't have enough superlatives.
anyone with a DS, please get this game you owe it to yourself ... just make sure you're over 18
looking forward to seeing impressions from dvader too.

Lions?
One thing I like about this game is that its relatively hassle free. In game design when you eliminate the fiddly or unneccesary things the game becomes more pleasurable to play. With GTA for instance, in GTA IV you had this process where you painstakingly stop your car, walk into your safehouse, walk up the stairs labouriously, just to go into an empty apartment to find and icon and save. Then repeat to get out of the building.
GTA DS has a quick save feature, hit the icon on the bottom screen as a favourite, in 2 seconds you are saved. There is another building in GTA IV where you go up an elevator just to save in your apartment.
And the DS game has a PDA so there is none of this nonsense about going to a net cafe to fiddle about.
Also the police chases are better here, more satisfying and not as unfair. You can smash a certain number of cars to lower your rating.
That is kinda cool, though.

Without going into spoilers after you finish the story missions you get a message on your PDA about locating two lions, and you actually have to register to the social club (ie go online with your ds so you're screwed) to get the hints for where to look for the lions. and once you find them you get some new missions from the final character (the frame i was asking about in some of my previous posts).

That must be the MTV article I posted a while back. Is there no way to use a FAQ to find the lions or are they random per game?
I completed this last night in an epic fight on the toilet. The window was open, there were bathroom sealent fumes all over the palce, it was cold, it was dark, I was straining. And I did an epic chase and then busted those two a-holes at the end. (not my own a-hole)
So satisfying.
So where are these Lionheads?
And apart from drug dealing is there anything left?
What am I suppossed to do with cameras?
Let's see what is there to do outside of the regular missions:
-
rampage
-
cabs
-
ambulance
-
police car
-
fire engine
-
races
-
drugs
-
tatooes
-
scrath cars
-
gun club
What else? I feel like I could play this game for ages, but I need ideas. I really like smashing cops up.
there are other things to do like jumping through billboards, burning people up whilst skidding, shooting helicopters off the sky to get chased by 5 or 6 police cars etc

I like feeling more empowered in this game vs Police. Using the rocket launcher to take down helicopters is superb fun and the rampages too.

- I think you need to register online for Social Club to unlock whatever the lions are, I haven't read much in because I don't want spoilers too much, although I already know who dies.
- Molitovs + 200 cameras = love? There are maps online with all the camera locations.
- Have you found all the Unique Stunt Jumps in the city?
- Go cart racing
- Noodle run
- Mail delivery (2)
If you just want to go absolutely nuts on police, you might want to try and get gold medals to unlock stuff like fireproof, bulletproof taxis, unlimited sprint, etc.

Oh man, please tell me where these are?
No, but sometimes you hear the dealers say ... "Ahhhhh ... I'll buy that at a high price!"
