Damn Ecco? No, damn you!!! Ecco rulez! Well, except for its extremely frustrating and unforgiving gameplay. Other than that, Ecco is teh awesome!!!

Sega can't even spell Echo right. Didn't you fight aliens or some weird shit?

Ecco is a proper noun, so Sega can spell it any way that they like.

Boo yah! Take that GG, its a proper noun bitch. Nyaa

Yes you fight aliens, whats a better story than a Dolphin that saves the world from aliens.

A diver that has a pet dolphin that does tricks.

SD support for customised music?  i'm sadly guessing there isn't if they haven't said anything about it yet, which is hugely dissappointing

Wow at some of the new pics, the detail they put on the little fishes in focus mode.

Why does the abyss shark look so bad though? You can really see that they improved the detail and crispness of the visuals though.

To whoever wants to pay the extortionate price I'll be asking for it in about a year or so.

Vader:

Gamedaily EO review "It's strictly a deep-sea diving simulator with heavy emphasis on exploration, treasure finding and aquatic discovery. With that said, it's a mesmerizing experience. Nintendo produces a vivid, wondrous underwater abyss to explore, complete with plenty of missions to fulfill."

Played about 2 hours of EO in anticapation of this new game. The visuals dont hold up as well as I remember. Well they do and they dont.

As with most games of the GC era some areas look better than ever, some character models look better than others. When you are in interesting areas like the gorgeous stalactite caves, its awesome, when you are on a featureless sea bed between areas, not so hot. The focus more mitages all this though. How cool is it to be able to click on any surface and see it in so much detail?

That's good and all, but I wouldn't put too much faith into the japanese hivemind anyway. Too weird.
