Starting this up again. To not celebrate the release of NG3 I decided to finally play NG2. I am like 3 hours in and it isnt bad at all, its pretty damn good. Yeah the camera is assy but I can manage. Clearly it is not a masterpiece like the first one, it feels a lot more repetitive and the environments are so boring. The pacing is all off and the bosses seem super cheap. That said it still has the great combat of NG and I am loving the new weapons too.

Sit little Archie let me, the hobo king, give you some advice. Certain games go down in price quick, especially over hyped crappy ones. NG3 will he half off maybe less in about a month. Play something else for a while and in time you can buy that crappy game at a more suitable price. Today I got FFXIII2 for $15 cause it went down to 30 and I had a 15 off coupon for being a best buy reward member. That game is like two months old. Just wait.
So true, that is why I'm holding off on it right now. I had two $10 off coupons but I used them on White Knight Chronicles II and Tales of Graces f today instead.Dvader said:

A bow and arrow fight against a bunch of dragons... who thought this was a good idea? Most of the time I am loving this game then something so idiotic comes along and ruins it.
NG2 done, WHAT THE FUCK was with that final boss. So many ups and downs every time I was starting to really enjoy it something came around to piss me off. Its still one hell of an action game cause the mechanics are so great but wow something went wrong with the design of these levels.

Meh, I think the series is over.......... not sure what to type as 2 and 3 didn't get great reviews. Er... overvalued?
The first game was decent with issues. Anything else NG related is either okay or a failure. The camera in 2 and 3 is headache inducing.
The camera in NG1 is headache inducing too...its just the rest of the game was awesome for the time.
