GBA Player rocked. Everytime I look at it I'm reminded that Konami did the world a disservice not releasing one last good 2-D Castlevania.

I liked it in theory, and bought it on day one, but hardly ever used/ use it.

I had a GB player for the SNES.  A Japanese one.  Then I had this converter thing that slotted into the cartridge slot of the SNES.  You then slotted the import game (in this case the GB player) in to the top of that, and SMW into the back of it in a horizontal position.  To top it off, I slotted my local GB games into the player.

Looked just as convulted as it sounds  Nyaa  It was also my first experience with lag and poor frame rates, as the whole thing was near unplayable.

The North American ones used with the native hardware worked great (just so you know).  I sitll have 2 or 3 of them.

I didn't use mine nearly as much as I should have. I remember playing the second two Castlevanias (Circle of the Moon and something about Sorrows.... Aria of Sorrows maybe?), Sword of Mana, and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. I never really had a GBA so that was my default way of playing those games, but overall I don't recall being impressed with the GBA library. Maybe that's why I didn't get a ton of use out of it. I still have it though attached to my Cube. Pity I have no more Cube controllers.
