Disappointed by the reaction of hoons Melbourne soccer supporters decided to show the city what a real riot was like. The Blue and White brigade began with their march through the city in the direction of Etihad Stadium. The flares that they lit were immediately thrown into Myers windows and several children there for the Christmas display were seriously injured. On top of that computer equipment was stolen by the supporters for use as weapons. One policeman was blinded when a computer monitor was attached over his head, and one of the mounted polices horses tripped over a CPU, crushing the policeman that rode it.

When they arrived at the stadium they pushed everyone off the bridge leading into it. The fall was not from a high enough height to kill anyone, but waiting below was another group of football hooligans that stabbed the stunned and helpless people that fell from above with shards of glass from computer monitors.

The riot police managed to get things under control with the use of all their weapons: tazers, batons, pepper spray and fire arms, and the BwB was securely placed in the supporters area. But as the game wore on the situation grew worse. At the Sydney end of the ground a group of Melbourne victory supporters broke through Hatamotos blockade and began to tear the seats apart. The security guards confronted a poor child being used by their parents in the riot as weapons, and was almost killed by the childs parents for doing so.

When Sydney scored after Melbournes disallowed goal the few Sydney supporters on the top level of the ground were pushed over the railing. Many died. Francesca and Alexandra Demetriou, two poor six year old girls caught up in the chaos said that despite the fact that they were not even at the stadium, they feared for their lives. Their father agreed, and said that he had had to get into the car and take them to St. Kilda beach at 10PM after the game just to avoid the dirge of dangerous drunk soccer fans. All three survived (though the hepatitis test is still not back yet).

Another bystander, Caroline Wilson, said that she had almost been raped by a group of rampant Melbourne fans hungry for blood after their team had lost. She said that while she was not actually raped, she could see the blood lust in their eyes. Phil Gardener backed up her comments. He said that in the mens toilets a group of Sydney fans had gone on a raping spree, not even sparing the young children that were present the horror of seeing their parents being held arse over head on the urinals. He locked himself inside one of the cubicles, and did not actually witness any of the events beyond hearing the screams, but even so it is a chilling indictment on Australian soccer.

On top of that Andy Maher and Tim Watson said that they saw The Four Diegos themselves participating in the violence: They were acting worse than a bunch of wogs! I saw The Four Dagos gang up on one poor riot policeman by themselves. They beat the poor man half to death before he sprayed them with pepper spray, and twenty or so other riot police finally arrived to take the filthy dagos away.

While no one was actually ejected from the stadium, this Im afraid to say, was because the police were simply overwhelmed. Theres not much you can do against 44,000 soccer hooligans. It was a shameful day for Australian sport, and one that I hope we will never see again. With the introduction of two new teams to the A-League it appears as if the league is trying to do far too much far too soon, and hopefully at the very least, this will lead to the death of the supporters (beyond them killing each other) or at the very best, the death of Australian hooliganism. That is to say, the death of Australian soccer.

I can't help but read all of Foolz's posts with Pachter's voice in mind.

"She said that while she was not actually raped, she could see the blood lust in their eyes."

Is she related to Michael Atkinson?

Pachter's real voice, or my Pachter voice? Nyaa Pachter's real voice is disappointing.

Maybe biologically but not professionally; she has far less integrity.
