Anyone here had any experience with absinthe? (to avoid anyone else doing the word play I'll re-pharase that to get it out of the way):
Is it true that absinthe makes the heart grow fonder?
I always wanted to try absinthe, but I just read The Sun Also Rises, and now I don't want to anymore.

I've had absinthe more than a few times. I chalk it up to dating a lot of goth girls over the years.
The ritual of preparing it is more fun than actually drinking it I think. If you have one of those proper set-ups for dripping the water onto a sugar cube then into a glass, just watching it all mix is surprisingly relaxing.
Truth be told, I haven't had any probably in almost 20 years, and I suspect I might enjoy it more today than I did back then as my palette has changed quite a bit over the years.

Whiskey.
Springbank 18 years has been my kick for awhile now. Jameson Black otherwise.
