I prefer the realistic look of Gotham in TDK. That's why I prefer Nolan's Batman trilogy over any other Batman movie. It looks as though it could happen.

It's filmed in Chicago. Gotham is Gothic New York (at least originally, right?). I was talking about the look, therefore referred to setting not location. Or was it meant to be set in fake Chicago? In which case I stand corrected. The fake comic book city was awful, though. I'm all for stylised settings, but it looked shithouse.
It's not my might fault if one of the films sucks, and the other is mediocre. Don't hate the rater, hate the films.

One such release is Man of Steel, touted at the shareholder meeting for being viewed by HBO subscribers over 20 million times. With numbers like that, it’s not too hard to imagine that HBO’s new over-the-top service will be streaming home for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Justice League, and all of the other DC Entertainment movies that Warner Bros.

Makes sense. Starz has a deal with Disney to play their movies including the Marvel flicks. I watched my share of Man of Steel on HBO.
Thinking about this, HBO could provide a better deal than Netflix. I think of their programming as being of higher quality.
HBO doesn't really need the WB deal since HBO is a division of Warner Bros. The deal is just so they can have it on the streaming service.

We watched The Drop in the cinema last Friday. Didn't really know what to expect, but I ended up liking it very much. Tom Hardy is such an amazing actor. I had only seen him in Inception, and as Bane in Batman Rises. He's the main character in this movie, and it's so different from those other parts I've seen him play. Blows my mind.
The movie is very clever as well. It shows that the director is Belgian though. Belgian films often focus on smaller stories. There's too little explosions or shooting in this game for it to be a true Hollywood production.

The Dark Knight is by far my favorite. The greatest superhero movie ever made bar none and one of my top 10 films of all time.

So weirdly I saw the Constatine pilot on Amazon, where it's not even on broadcast tv yet. It was sort of okay but... holy.. what the? The lead actor is Edward Kenway from Assassins Creed 4. All I keep hearing is slightly Welsh pirate voice and it's very distracting, as is the blone hair mixed with black stubble beard.

They wanted him to play John Constantine even though he didn't look the part when he auditioned he had long black hair and a full beard. It was for another part he was doing at the time. Goyer liked his performance so much that he sabotageed the other auditions so Matt Ryan would get the part. When his other part was done he cut and dyed his hair.
The first episode aired the US this past Friday. I liked it I knew they had to change it to make Liv leave since she originally was going to stay but the producers didn't like where her character was going so they wrote her out of the show.

WB is already working on a Supergirl series. Goyer and WB are going to be making a series about what life on Krypton was like before it was destroyed.
