To break it down, I'd say this is a game with outstanding visuals and art direction, marvelous music, and compelling combat system, but with a plot that trying to be introspective, it takes itself too seriously, more cheesy than moving.

Actually...no. Chopin's music is largely restricted to the slideshows in between chapters, where passages of his life are described. Overworld, dungeon and battle music is composed by Sakuraba Motoi, and it's awesome.
