Okay we have some new info from Aonuma  himself

When asked how different the new Zelda title will be when it arrives on Wii next year, Aonuma replied: "It is something we used to talk about with Mr Miyamoto, and he and I agree that if we are following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise."

"So we have been trying something new in terms of the structure of the Wii version of the new Zelda game this time. I am really hopeful that people will be surprised with the changes we have implemented for this Wii version."

So they are going to make changes to the structure of the game. What do you think the changes would be?

Oh and......

Well I would fuck her too. Zelda is hot, and Link is definitely not giving it.

Back to the topic:

Does anyone think Nintendo will pull off a Metroid Prime or Wind Waker? Meaning, a huge drastic departure that'll make us drop our jaws to the floor?

It's funny though. People criticize Nintendo for making Zelda so familiar and formulaic, yet it will be these same people who will cry out the most negative backlash when Nintendo changes Zelda around!

I won't buy any more Zelda games unless they make some drastic changes to the series, and I mean changes for the better, not changes like in Phantom Hourglass which sucked.

People that say Zelda is always the same, really need to play Majora's Mask!

I think it could do that, be like a wind waker change and we'll all moan.

Or they could make it more action orientated because of motionplus, do it over the shoulder and make it more like RE4 with a focus on cinematic action.

Which is the best one. Happy

Yes it needs to be different but in a more challanging way.

More news from Aonuma!!

"We're taking advantage of MotionPlus. It's become very natural – the movement of your arms is precisely reflected in the gameplay. Thanks to the technological advancements, we hope the gameplay can be more accessible to people." - Eijii Aonuma

"We're making efforts regarding the total flow of the Zelda game. So far, the basic flow of the Zelda games is you're exploring a field, you go to a dungeon, you conquer it and return to the field. We're looking at altering that traditional flow. That's all I can share, and I can't say more until E3 next year."

So WM+ is in, now how will they change the flow?

I like what Aunoma is saying. Wiimotion plus can add much needed new gameplay mechanics and they know the series is getting very predictable. We might have a Mario Galaxy like situation where they go all out and give us something spectacular... or we can end up with PH.  I will stay positive and say this will be the best Zelda ever, which I say of every up coming Zelda.

What would you think about a zelda game with a mario galaxy like concept? Being sucked into a bizaare dream world where each area, was disconnected but wildly varied and entertaining?

No. It's a Zelda game, thus it must have boring medieval environments.

I just worked out what Zelda wii will be.

It will be called Link and Zelda: Ganon's Inside Story.

Both characters will be shrunk and transported inside Ganon.

You mean like separate rocks planetoids which each have a different theme? One housing a village, another one housing a forest and yet another one housing a dungeon?

And you can reach them all by riding some type of flying dragon? Brilliant, never hear that idea before!

No not like that. No planets or anything. But dream like fantasy state.
