Project Octopath Traveler is out soon, then Mario Tennis.
Smash, Pokemon and Fire Emblem for years end. Given how little I game these days its more than enough. Truth be told I'm still working on my Switch backlog. Just got Steamworld Dig 2 and RE Revelaitons 2. Still have Xenoblade 2 to complete. I would play it more if it didn't look so bad offscreen.
It was a poor E3 showing from them regardless.
IDK...to me the Switch is pretty disappointing overall. Granted, I'm someone who doesn't game "on the go", so to me it's just a console. I just don't get the hype. It's a Wii U port machine with a better controller and a horrible online service.
Anyway...they didn't show Metroid Prime 4 again? Fuck me, they're almost as bad as Square.

I don't game on the go much either, but as someone who has his consoles hooked up to the main tv, it sure is nice to be able to play a game while the missus is watching some series on netflix. I think a lot of sales also come from it being the next 3DS, basically.
I guess Nintendo didn't show anything because it's more than a year away, and they don't tend to show games that won't release before next E3, if I recall correctly... Still, they need to keep the hype going, and it wouldn't have hurt to show some more games, some more unexpected games, to keep the appetites wetted. By the time MP4 releases, the fad may have passed.

I really wish they were smart enough to release Metroid Prime Trilogy remastered with Switch controls in the meantime, but they won't. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if MP4 doesn't release on the Switch at all.
That presentation was bad. I just skimmed through it...like 70% of the show was Smash Bros tutorial stuff. The hell....
I'm glad Square is releasing The World Ends With You on Switch. That's a game I've always wanted to play. I'm sure the new Fire Emblem will be cool too.
Deamon game looked ok. FE cool as hell. Smash day one and it will be a masterpiece as usual. GG you better do your epic Smash daily update thread!
But seruiously what is nintendo doing. They need more teams or something cause this was a really weak showing for them.

You're being generous there. It was more like 90%

They also need more third party support outside of indies. Where are all these Bandai Namco action games they were making?
wth is retro doing these days?
Also, Switch is the fastest selling console in various countries worldwide. Fucks given by third parties = zero.
I'm not suprised, it's the norm now.
Back to Splatoon.
