God of War Ascension is done. Great game....not sure why it got average reviews it's every bit as solid as the other games.

Yeah, the Selvaria missions I think. I started up the first one, and my team was getting obliterated within the first round. The Imperial soldier are pretty weak and worthless (which seems odd since they were such bastards during the regular game), and it doesn't take much for them to get killed. I ended up giving up and switching back to the Skirmishes to play them on Hard mode, and that was a pleasant surprise. I was unaware that when you switch difficulty modes, the maps and layouts stay the same but the missions change into something completely different. Definitely more challenging, and a lot of fun.
A month and a half later I finish a game I bought years ago for the DS, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. Of all things, my first Dragon Quest game.

I liked Joker. Not the best of the DQM games, but it had some neat ideas. Not if it holds up these days though. Oh well, at any rate good for you.

I didn't know that. Will remember it for a replay down the road sometime. I actually got halfway through a replay on normal with the amazing weapons you get for completing the game. Alica gets so OP.
PS updated with Dark Souls.
Just finished Tekken 7 and it's a great game. A little dark, pretty goofy, and a bit sad. A good selection of characters and decent amount of content with quite a variety of customization goodies for the characters. The way it transitions from cutscenes to fighting is very cool and well done. The inclusion of all the cinemas, endings, and artwork from all the other Tekken games is a very nice bonus. Could have used a mode like Tekken Force, bowling, or something to really complete the package but all in all it's an excellent game. 9 out of 10.
Killzone 2 is done. I never liked the sluggish feeling controls in these games and always laughed at the "Halo killer" motto so I just never felt like playing them until now. But I'm having a pretty good time with them despite the fact that they are severely overrated because they are the PS's premiere FPS franchise. To me, these games get the same over the top hype as the Gears games on Xbox. They're good, but not THAT good.
Anyway, K2 is a step up from the original thanks to having better hardware to work with. That first game was too ambitious for what the PS2 was capable of when it came to shooters. This game takes all those ideas and puts them on a system that can actually handle them, and adds in a heavy Modern Warfare influence like every other FPS at the time as well. The result is a pretty fun 10 hour game. Great brownish visuals for a PS3 title and some really good weapons to play with.
Updated with Final Fantasy XV...
Ummm. W. T. F.? This was probably the worst Final Fantasy game I've ever played. It was depressing as fuck. The combat system was atrocious and if this is Square's way to start a new "brand" with all the tie-ins, games, movies, etc, WOW did they fail miserably. It's like they don't know how to tell a good story anymore. They had plenty of elements that were supposed to make you have the "feels" but none of them amounted to anything. The whole game added up to one big "meh."
If this is what they came up with in 10 years, they are in deep, deep trouble. Time to bow-out and give the throne to Atlus or Enix alone again.
Good-bye Fabula Nova Crystallis, you won't be missed.
I'm really hoping that they go back to something much more traditional for the next Final Fantasy game.

Thank you.
Well actually you should have ended your post with a "you're welcome" as a preemptive finish to an assumed "thank you" from others.
So no, thank you and you're welcome.
Finished Mass Effect: Andromeda and it's a pretty damn big game, a whole lot of quests to do. While it is disappointing given its lineage it is a pretty good game in general. A fair amount of it looks quite nice such as the planets and vistas however the characters and animations leave something to be desired even though they have been touched up with patches. The writing has good moments here and there but a lot of it just seems too much like fan fiction stuff and there are some really cringeworthy stuff in there as well. The antagonist of the game is incredibly dull for the most part and is hardly ever present or compelling. Things pick up near the end but it still feels a bit rushed. The combat itself is fairly tight and quite enjoyable and the multiplayer is pretty fun stuff. It's a shame that this game was rush and didn't have better writing and a more compelling narrative and villain. Still a good game though and I'd rate it 7/10.
Just recently finished Halo Wars 2 and it is quite an enjoyable game. Story is ok with some very nice looking cutscenes. Gameplay feels good and the new modes like Blitz are quite fun and get you into the action right away with fairly fast paced matches. Feels like it ended a bit abruptly and on somewhat of a cliffhanger but very solid game nonetheless. 8/10.
Just for Robio...Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is once again complete....this time on the PS4!
Hell yeah it is.
If I remember right one or two of those are surprisingly difficult.
