That Castlevania trailer looked very cool. Looking forward to this series.

Yep, I liked what I saw of the Castlevania trailer as well, though I'm still being cautious. There wasn't much more than 30 seconds of footage in it. Still Castlevania 3 was one of my favorite NES games, so I'm really crossing my fingers for this.

If you guys like Vampire anime like CV you might like Hellsing Ultimate - the first episode isn't that great though the rest is great.

I'm almost midway through Twin Peaks season 2.  It's great.  I started season one years ago but somehow dropped the show after the first season was over.

I am sick as shit with the flu so I binge watched the new multipart documentary Netflix released, The Keepers. It's about an unsolved murder of a nun during the late 60's in Baltimore and gets into a lot of corruption and sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. It's really good, but Jesus is it depressing.

For me, Luke Cage took a long time to come together. I almost gave up on it after 5 episodes. But after a few more I stated to enjoy it and it got pretty good.

Iron Fist was actually the opposite. I thought it started off strong, but it actually got much worse as the show went on.

Yeah I was thinking about giving up on Luke Cage after the first episode. It was alright but boring.

Just finished watching Glow, the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling inspired black-comedy or whatever you want to call it. It's almost all fictional, so don't plan to use it for source material for a book report, but it's not a bad show at all. It takes about 3 episodes to get introduce all the characters and such, and once it does that it starts to get going. Episodes usually aren't much longer than 30 minutes, so that goes a long way to keep each episode well paced and not dragged out like so many other shows on Netflix. I won't wait with baited breath for season 2, but once its out I'll definitely watch it.

Oh and I forgot to mention it earlier, but a few weeks back I checked out the Santa Clarita Diet, with Drew Berrymore and Timothy Olyphant. It's... original. I'll give it that. Its basically a black comedy, almost slap-stick, about a suburban housewife who kind of becomes a zombie or some kind of undead flesh eater. I really thought it was funny at first, but the humor gets kind of stale after a while. It would have made a great two hour movie, but instead it got stretched out to 10 episodes and ultimately another season. Bleh....

I started and finished Castlevania today. I can't wait for season 2.

It was really good. Though it felt too short because it was 4 22 minute episodes.

I also watched the four episodes of Castlevania. Really good show and an excellent retelling of Castlevania 3. Aside from missing Grant I can't think of a single complaint so far, and in all honestly it probably makes for a better show by leaving him out and not having to balance his charater and story with everything else. Still, I hope they give him a mention or cameo in the next season. Anyway, it's a great start and I'll watch more as soon as they offer them up.

Watching Castlevania right now and this is really good stuff. Pretty cool that Matt Frewer is voicing the bat-shit crazy bishop. When I think of him I think of Trashcan Man from The Stand.

I enjoyed it. The documentry on Netflix was short and gave some good background also.

I really hope this opens to the door to some other stories about women's wrestling. As far as wrestling goes I've always thought that the stuff that goes on behind the scenes is far more interesting than anything we end up seeing on TV, and that goes just about double for women's wrestling. The shit they had to put up with, particularly in the early days of the industry was insane.

I was just reading a little bit about the Fabulous Moolah and the crap she's pulled.  She's quite the bitch.
