^ I just did the same. I'm a sucker for the Groundhog Day genre. I think it taps into my analytical tendencies and risk-avoidance to imagine a world where you get to retry repeatedly until you get it right. Currently on season 2, which I think took a step backward, but that may also be my biases.

We're watching the second season of Russian Doll right now.  The first season was enjoyable, even if it made no sense, nor tried to.  Second is good so far as well.  We've got one episode to go and I wonder if they'll tie up the story more this time around.

I'm probably going to start season 2 tonight, although I do it with some degree of trepidation. Honestly, I didn't think it needed another season. The story was told, and everything was resolved well enough for me. Oh well, they rolled the dice so I will check it out.

It's because of all the people like us who watched season 1 that a season 2 came to be.  Curse thee oh irony!

Also +1 for the use of 'trepidation'.

It created a very interesting and difficult writing challenge. When the first season is predicated on a never-before and never-again event that leads to resolving major character flaws, what do you do after it's over? Do you make the even happen again? If so, for what reason if there was already resolution? Do you decide the flaws haven't actually been resolved?

Generally I think the right answer would be focusing on a different character. But given you could very much say that Natasha Lyonne made the show in the first place, that's kind of an impossible decision to make.

I've made it about an episode and a half into season 2, and I think I'm going to put it on pause for now. I know what's going somewhere, but I think my brain needs a break before I go back into it because right now it's just not holding my attention at all.

All I watch anymore is Lego Masters.  It's fantastic for family viewing.

Amazon Prime launched the new series for The Kids In The Hall. Or really, it's the same old series, so maybe the new season?

After the shock of scene how old they've all gotten has worn off, it was pretty darn good. Much like the original series, it was very hit or miss. But the hits are amazing and well worth sitting through a 4-minute sketch that just sucks.

Thats a show that I had very little interested in when I was younger. The only thing i knewis from the playground when kids would act like theyre pinching your head off. Is the old show worth a shot? Has it aged well or will the humor be stuck in the eighties?

The show ran from 90 to 95, and it was pretty edgy for the time, so overall I think it holds up. At least the good sketches hold up. The bad ones or bad even when they were new though.

The best of episodes are available on Amazon and maybe some other places as well. If you stick with those you'll be fine. Actually, all but the final season in 1995 when they switched to cbs. That was pretty awful, but they even acknowledged the show was bad while shooting those episodes. And ironically, those were probably the funniest things they did that season.

Yeah, I never thought Willow would ever be brought back. Very cool. I hope it's good.

Same here. Definitely didn’t expect a Willow series. Did enjoy the movie back in the day. Also really enjoyed both the arcade and NES games from Capcom. Would like to check this out.

Trailer looks really good too. I know Val Kilmer can't really talk anymore, but I'm wondering if we don't get to see him one way or another. Although if I remember anything about the books, Madmartigan was actually killed off fairly quickly in the following story. I doubt they will use that as source material though.

Oh, and I'm in full agreement, the NES and arcade game were both excellent. That's got to be one of the rare instances where a licensed property was used to make two completely different games and they both ended up amazing.

What? LOL  I just meant they are middle of the road games that hardly get talked about even though they are good.
