While I've completely enjoyed all of his films really nothing has shone like Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown.
For a guy that abhores video games, his movies sure have come to resemble the basest of them. Perhaps he'd enjoy the wolfenstein reboot.
Very true, but it's so long that at a certain point one forgots just what wish is being fulfilled so it's a bit less obnoxious!
I dare say there's some professional jealousy there. If Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was a videogame he could kill Manson's minions and manage the Golden Age of Hollywood so that it would go on forever himself!

It's similar to The Walking Dead or any other post-apocalyptic scenario where survivors battle infected as well as other survivors. In this case it's a little more supernatural though. People who turn into a variety of monsters rather than plain old boring zombies. It ends up making the fight scenes a lot more interesting.
its on my list. You like horror movies right? You have to watch The Guest, it's the best series I've seen on Netflix in ages.

I've heard about that. I will give it a shot.
Usually I don't enjoy this kind of program, but I really enjoyed the artisans hip of the glassblowing and how versatile it was. Cool show.

I took some students to observe a glass blowing demonstration last year. Everyone was in awe at how versatile it was.

It started out as one of the most daring and innovative ideas I think we've seen out the MCU, until it eventually turned into just the typical Marvel experience. Again, that's not a bad thing. I just appreciated the creativity and experimentation from the first half of the series. Anyway, looking forward to seeing the next chapter of this in the Doctor strange sequel.
I was pretty interested in it until I found out it wasn't a Wanda Sykes vehicle.
Watched Coming 2 America. If you have nostalgia for the first I'd rewatch ithe original than this. Not great, but it's a nostaligia-driven exercise.
As a standalone, it's poor.

I watched that last night with my wife, or rather I should say we watched the first 30 minutes of it before turning it off. Even with my love for the original, I couldn't endure this.
We watche the 2 last episodes of Snowpiercer yesterday, completing the available 2 seasons. It started out very brutal, but after that it becomes less horrible to watch and we enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing the third season whenever that hits. I hope they have a vision to end it at some point though, because as is the case with the Eternal Machine itself, this could be dragged out forever.
We also watched the miniseries 'the lost pirate kingdom'. It was okish I guess. They were clearly on a budget and a lot of the stuff is repeated, despite it only being 6 episodes long. Main takeaway is that the 'golden age of piracy' lasted for less than 10 years. Shortest golden age of anything I ever heard of.
