Star Trek!!!!!! Discovery season 2 ended and it was fantastic. The Enterprise and Captain Pike were perfect, Spock was great, the whole season was very well done.

Yes, pretty tense survival horror at one point. I’m just glad they lit the trenches because I couldn’t really make out anything for a while.

I pretty much expected that. The cheapest way to do special effects is to have your scenes at night and make it really dark. Oldest trick in the book.
I also watched season 2 of The Tick. Once again it was very good. Not the greatest show up there, but it carries the mantle of The Tick well. I think they were a little over-ambitious this season, with the addition of another half-dozen characters but they more or less pulled it off. And Peter Serafinowicz has really nailed the role down. He finally got that balance of oblivious enthusiasm just right without seeming to be just plain dumb.

Yeah, I knew it was a budget thing. So is Daeny’s Army pretty much wiped out?

It looks like it. The Dothraki essentially went full Leeroy Jenkins into the horde of wights. The unsullied, wildlings and northerners fared a little better, but not much. I'm not sure who is left.
The poor Dothraki, went out with a whimper. I’m actually a little surprised that the handled them all in one episode. I figured the Night King would play a part in the finale.

Or have them at any time of day, in any setting, and just have them really dark for a brooding, gritty atmosphere.
Cobra Kai was surprisingly great. That said, I didn't need a season 2.

I'm 3 episodes in. I'll watch the rest this weekend. So far it's good, but I think they crossed the line from being a show that feels like it was made in the 80's, to a show that's about the 80's.

I watched the first three episodes as well. Really good stuff so far. Will watch some more this weekend.
Finished watching Season 3 of Stranger Things and I loved it, such an excellent season. Now the wait for Season 4 begins.

In two years...maybe
I’ve finished both seasons of Cobra Kai. Season one was definitely the best but both were really enjoyable.
If any of you Netflix addicts are Terry Gilliam fans, make sure you prise yourself away from your TV to see The Man Who Killed Don Quixote in its limited general release. The photography is astounding for a digital film, and should not be missed on a big screen. The film itself is great, too.
