In 2018 Disney is removing all of their non-Marvel and Star Wars movies from Netflix. They're starting their own services in 2018 and 2019.
ESPN will be in 2018 and Disney will be in 2019.
Three books that Mark Millar created have already been turned into movies: Wanted, Kick-Ass, and Kingsman.
I guess now Fox and WB have to either give up the film rights to his books. Fox owns Wanted, Kick-Ass, and Kingsman. WB currently owns the film rights to Nemesis.
WB is already launching their own service in 2018 specifically for DC Comics properties; they have two exclusives lined up already: Titans and Young Justice: Outsiders (Season 3)
It will eventually be the place where all of DC's TV series, Movies, and Animation will be located instead of Netflix.
I watched the first five episodes of Defenders today.
It was really good. I loved Daredevil and Jessica Jones; still haven't finished Luke Cage and I haven't even started Iron Fist but I didn't feel confused at all.
I'm going for a funimation sub soon ish.
I've been Netflix and chillin' with the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling and I rather enjoyed the show. Sam was a pretty hilarious dude. Interested in seeing where season two goes with it.
Also watched the documentary show on it and really enjoyed that as well. I love all the behind the scenes backstage stuff in wrestling.
I'm starting up Deadwood. I figured, "Why not?" I've got time to kill.

If your kids are anywhere in the house when you watch it, keep the volume down. They say cocksucker at least once a minute.
Just finished watching the first season of Voltron on Netflix. I like it. Nicely paced and there's a good deal of humour in there. Still think the original is better but that could just be nostalgia talking.

I'll give it a go.
Watched 2016 Magnificent 7. They kill more people in the last 40 minutes of that movie than the entire Uncharted series.

They couldn't have made the remake more insulting to the original if they'd tried.
The mass slaughter was entertaining (and a lot better than Uncharted), though, but that's all it had going for it.
Uncharted has worse action, yet better writing, direction, and cinematography (notwithstanding the great second unit that worked on that action scene). Weird.
Earlier it was reported that Disney and Netflix would try to make a deal for Marvel and Star Wars to stay on Netflix.
Today it has been announced that Disney is removing everything from Netflix.
That is Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars will all be moving to Disney's new streaming service.
Finished up season 3 of Narcos, the story of the Cali Cartel. Good stuff. Lots of surprises in the way the story went down and it had one of the most intense episodes of television I've ever watched. Still it wasn't quite as good as the first two seasons without a central figure like Pablo Escobar especially considering how charismatic of a character he was. The show runners recognized that though, and wisely made one of the Cali cartel's underlings a main character who brought a different perspective to things. Anyway, good damn show. Already waiting on season 4, if and when it happens.

I'm almost done with #3. It really is a unique and enjoyable series. I'd like to thin a 4th season is secured.

I read an interview with Pedro Pascal about it. According to him season 4 is going to happen. However, the show Runners are actually debating if they want to go ahead and do Mexico, or if they want to take the series to a different location like Afghanistan or even jump around to a different era completely
I finished the Wire(great series), but now I've realized I'm too far into Tein Peaks not to finish it. Then I'll start Narcos.

Jump the shark they mean. Mexico would be a good shift, but not beyond that.
GLOW gets renewed for a second season. I still need to watch the first one, perhaps this weekend.
