that was a great performance. Pumped for the album now, will get it for sure. ISWYD is one of the albums constantly on rotation on the mp3 player I take running with me.
You can listen to Killer Mike album while you wait for the CD to arrive

Apparently had food poisoning and was about to crap his pants. Imagine if he wasn't holding it in!
Foolz I'm really lucky. Die Antwoord is playing London on the very day when I get there. I have a morning flight so I should be in good time for the gig. They're playing the Forum in Kentish Town which is one of my favourite venues and it's two tube stops from where I live. Also got an upstairs seating ticket which will help me enjoy it even more (too old to do the standing and dancing thing).
Evil Boy for life!!!
Awesome. They look like they're great live going by YouTube. They were in Australia last year, but during football season.
Also the Killer Mike CD arrived early.
Zomby's album has been one of the highlights of the year for me. Try this tune.
This is the greatest tune in the world right now. And I understand that it's in Ballad of Gay Tony which by extention makes that the greatest soundtrack in the world. Everybody dance suckas!!
Ahem ... How do I embed youtubes nowadays? The "use old embed code - press source" procedure doesn't seem to work anymore. Nothing appears. Anyway here's the link.
I love it every time the Pentatonix do a new cover. I'm not crazy about all the voices but the beatboxer is really amazing. He should go solo
Pentatonix - Little Drummer Boy
Bugsy, have you heard Run the Jewels and Old? Obviously Run the Jewels was automatically going to be great to me, but Old really surprised me. I like it a lot more then XXX and the Hybrid. Splitting it in half works great and gives the album so much focus as well as range. Pity they couldn't clear the sample on ODB. Still finishes well without it, though.
I haven't done so yet. I'm not up to date at all with my hiphop since most of my limited listening time is nowadays mostly being put into researching the techno and house scene. Need to do so though, thanks for the heads up.
I've never had the patience to play a Megaman before but this really makes me want to. Incredibly emotional piece of music.
Yes. Really, really good. Great, in fact.
However it's easily his worst album. I don't think the lyrics are anywhere near as good as ISWYD or most of Fantastic Damage, but his flow is a huge step up from them both...but I actually like his verging on spoken word stuff on ISWYD a little bit better. The delivery was just so perfect on pretty much every song. The production is up there with his best stuff, though and as an album it's as seamless as ISWYD, if not a little more. The only problem with that is pretty much all the songs are the same length and quite short which means it can be hard to really get into a song when it comes up when you're listening to the whole album. That's probably just me, though.
It's much more accessible too. It only took me a few listens to really love it. It took a lot longer with Fantastic Damage and ISWYD.
Are you interested in the KIller Mike album? I can't wait to hear it, but I bought it on Amazon so I will be waiting...for a long time.
Did you see the Letterman performance?
