The amount of contrived sequences they've come up for the batmobile in just the first 2 hours of the game is so disappointing.
I was on the fence about it but there was one great sequence using a winch to go across rooftops. I do find it amusing how there are now racing courses everywhere.
As inspired as that part felt, I really can't stand blowing up drone tanks. It's so un-Batman. I should be stealthily taking down enemies not dudebroing it through Gotham.
GOTY already. I love these batmobile challenges! The lore building is incredible, I spent nearly an hour in the GCPD just listening and talking to everyone.
But it’s the in game challenge ranking system that will take so much of my time. It auto ranks your friends and messages them when you beat their time or someone beat yours. I will of course be first place in all my friends list. I challenge you all!
combat feels super easy. And I am on hard. I fear this game will be a cake walk.
It's less of a chore now and great for solving puzzles. It's used in pretty cool ways so far. Think of Metroid Prime 3 and how Samus' ship was all of a sudden integral to progressing. The Ace Chemicals part won me over. It's a great addition.
I do want some sneaking in the dark, taking down bad guys one on one time. I hope to see some old school takedowns soon.

Yup it's a blast.

This is what it takes these days to fix a game, derp. smh
Wow! Steam players are pissed! I wonder why Rocksteady didn't do the PC version?

It's weird as E3 2014's build was the PC version and looked good.
This game is definitely pulling ahead of Witcher as my goty. There's so much gameplay variety, it's overwhelming, tryng to choose what to do next.
Regarding the visuals, the videos I've seen show the pc slightly ahead of the consoles, but very slighly. The smoke effects are better plus the physics of the cape.
I went around the web, confirmed no challenge maps. No multiple characters to choose from. They changed it to AR challenges which are not the same. It’s probably DLC now.
FUCK YOU WB. I am pissed now. This is a massive blow to this game. What’s crazy is that no reviewers mentioned this. Your fucking job is to inform us in the game. The removal of one of the best modes in the game is a big deal.

Scarecrow is but that is something new. I am talking about the classic combat and predator challenge maps. There are a few in game but not the same.
Wow! I just assumed they were there. I want more history of Gotham stuff to find like in the previous games.. It was cool to find tape recordings by Arkham's founder talking about the institution or finding landmarks like the theatre alley where Bruce's parents were killed.

No it's not. It's their job to make money. Money that is provided by the companies that make the games. Review sites are usually nothing more than advertisement of the games.

This is true. The idealistic view of review sites as sources of honest information is only that, an ideal. They are businesses and if bringing stuff to light could potentially hurt the way they make money to stay in business, they sure as hell won't be mentioning it.
As an aside, I seem to recall reading somewhere that only PS4 code was sent to reviewers. With the way the PC port turned out, it's clear WB knew about it beforehand and still put it out for sale.
It is ideal to expect professionalism now?
This whole it is "their job to make money" isn't a defense or a counter argument, that's complete nonsense.
Oooooh, seems like the PC version is even lacking some of the console edition's visual flourish Tsktsktsk
Just got the game in the mail...oh sweet mercy tonight I shall fuck shit up.
