So I was talking to a coworker this week how had the same job as me, traveling and he said in one city he had a friend he only knew from Xbox live so they decided to meet. So I was like damn, I would love to meet some of you guys. Obviously we all come from very different places, organizing a meetup would be a massive undertaking. Those of us in the same country have it easy, hell I can visit robio at any time really : P.

But imagine we all decide one year to all take a vacation to the same place, you can bring family, it doesn't have to be us together the whole trip. We can do some touristy stuff together or not. What I would love is just one giant game night with all of you in person.

It's probably never going to happen but it would be a cool thing, I've known some of you guys longer than some of my real life friends.

It would be hard. I thought about it about a year ago.

Picking a location and getting everyone together would be a gargantuan task. Peoples budgets too.

Yeah, I thought about this several times like what if I had the dough to fly several of you to one location for a weekend get together with gaming, food and a party.

I think it's more likely that one or two people would be able to travel and visit several members.  I guess Robio is closest then Vader.

I say we all crash this year's E3. We can all meet up in front of the convention with our TheVGPress badges on day one.

We have never planned anything, I'm not showing up at anyone's door or imposing out of nowhere. We need to plan these things.

It's orlando people vacation there all the time so that maybe the best spot. All it takes is for a few vacations to land on the same weekend and boom there you go. If you have never been or have kids I would highly recommend it.

Than start planning now! It you going to wait and do nothing, nothing will happen. One of you must take the initiative and seeing as you made this thread, it might as well be you. Let me put it this way, if you are incapable of organizing a get together with Robio or Travo who live close to you, how do think to achieve a get together with more people that are spread across the globe? The old saying goes: "learn to crawl before you learn to walk, learn to walk, before you learn to run"

We briefly considered going to Disneyworld during Columbus Day and making monthly payments, but there were too many obstacles.  If I am ever in Florida again, I'm letting you guys know.  We did drive across Florida back in 2011, driving through Orlanda to Fort Meyers.  That's what?  An hour and a half drive away from Miami?

I come up with the idea and other people execute. That's my plan. Nyaa

I am single and can practically fly anywhere in the world for free, I am the last person who needs to make the plans, I can almost do anything that is reasonable.

Somehow it never work that way for me! If I have an idea, people expect me to execute. If other people have an idea, somehow I end up being the one that executes it anyways!

Clearly everyone here has always wanted to visit the exciting Windsor Ontario.  From our various construction sites to our unnecessary density of shawarma restaurants, there's no where better for everyone to come meet.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile

This really should be the year I go and meet people. Vader, you and I need to make a resolution to meet up at some point. I've been debating taking a road trip with the boy this summer that would take me about an hour away from Travo. And the wife wants to go to NYC around Christmas time, so in theory I could say "hi" to Leo.

BTW for anyone who wants to travel to Orlando for a vacation or something, none of you can stay with me Happy . BUT I have a buddy who works at a pretty nice hotel near all of the theme parks and I can get pretty ridiculous discounts there through him. Just throwing it out there for anyone who might hit Sea World, Universal Studios, or The Holy Land Experience... yes we have a Jesus theme park here.
