I had it preordered....then cancelled it because I was gonna wait for something like a Metal Gear bundle...but then decided fuck it and picked it up.

I don't remember Bear complaining about the U before it came out, but he sure did afterwards. Can't say I blame him on that one, though. 
ACIV is fucking awesome on PS4. This is my first AC game, and there seems to be a bit of a learning curve. My only complaint is that the AI can be really dumb at times, and a little too smart at other times.
DS4 controller is awesome as well. Probably the best gamepad I have ever used. Without the camera, that light strip is completely useless, though. It's easy enough to ignore, but I wish I could turn it off all the same.
I pre-ordered a couple more games: Thief and Wolfenstein: The New Order.
What do you mean by learning curve? You have to try really hard to die in AC

Hmm, I seem to manage it quite easily. Mostly I fail missions over and over and over again. I spent over an hour trying to sneak into a prison to free some pirates, and I haven't been successful yet. I'm always driven out or killed.
Unless they changed something very radically after the first 4 games you must be doing something wrong. The series is notorious for being completely devoid of any challenge (i guess doing the secondary objectives could be challenging sometimes but who cares about those)

I probably just suck. That prision mission was a secondary objective, though.
When does Thief even release? I am dying for that game. If you have access to Thief Deadly Shadows on Xbox or PC, I recommend it.

Oh man that is awesome.....honestly I think the month delay on getting PS4 was perfect for me.
I have Ass Creed to play now, Tomb Raider releases on my birthday next month, Thief and possibly Infamous in Feb....then Watch Dogs in June? Not bad.

Yes it was skipping the month that made the PS4 all of a sudden awesome, not that you just bought one.
It does look like PS4 will have a nice steady stream of games next year. There will be plenty for me to play at least.
