This game is sooooooo amazing. There are addicting games and then there are games that take over your soul. You cannot wait to jump back in, this is one of those games. Why buy new games, I should just play this and Demons souls over and over. Its a masterpiece.
I have made that same exact thought so many times
SL99. Barely anything left to do except for Kalameet (fuck that) and Gwyn himself. Kind of wanted to try PvP at Oolacile for a while but it's hard to get invaded at this SL. I guess there isn't much point in delaying things, so I should be moving onto NG+ sometime soon, after I kindle all bonfires and get the great scythe which I missed during my catacombs shenanigans.
I beat Dark Sun Gwyndolyn. It took me many tries as I kept getting zapped by his stupid projectile. I thought it was really hard but then I just concentrated and played carefully and I just killed him ... then I thought "well that was easy". This happens so much in this game.
Steel does one have to do the DLC content before they kill Gwyn? Will I have to start NG+ as soon as I do Gwyn? I wasn't sure if I had to beat Gwyn first to access that. What is Kalameet? I'm kind of running out of things to do as well but I still haven't done any of the DLC. I really tried to do Siegmeyer's story properly but I think I messed up at some point when I was talking to his daugher and I broke his chain. Also tried to do everything I had to do to save Astoras from going mad but I don't know if I did that right yet.
Also, I quit levelling up. There doesn't seem much point. I use any spare souls to buy all the miracles and spells etc. I am missing just one pyromancy scrawl until I get that achievement which I really want. Will also think whether I want to pursue any of the weapon achievements but I will only do that if the titanites have obvious and easy farming locations.
As soon as you beat Gwyn the game thrusts you into NG+, so you better do whatever stuff you need to do before killing him. That includes, of course, DLC. Now would be a good time to try that out. Kalameet is a DLC optional boss that's regarded by many as the hardest boss in the game. He`s a black dragon that drops some sword if you cut his tail, but the battle itself apparently calls for summoned help because the thing is supposed to be exceedingly hard.
I finished the game last night. Wanted to try Kalameet out before but I left it for NG+, whenever that takes place.
I beat Bed of Chaos (how flipping annoying was that), and I ventured into DLC territory. I aced that first boss by myself but then I was seeing a lot of summon signs, so I called two white phantoms and did the level with them, including Artoras who was badass but died a valient death at the hands of me and my summoned buddies.
And then I was promptly killed by a giant as I was trying to explore some of this new territoty and lost well over 100K souls. But I know better by now than to be frustrated by such things.
I think I will place summon stones and fight the boss some more as a ghost
Beautiful ... but oh so very sinister!
Yeah you can't do all of new londo (ie the abyss) until you have the lordvessel.
I was summoned in Royal Wood to fight Kalameet with two other guys. He made quick work of me. Most difficult boss in the game. Was dealing very little damage ... and I was the only one of the three of us who was making any at all
Steel I have over 40 levels in DEX, VIT and END ... what should I invest further levels into (if and when they happen as leveling up is so expensive now). Looking into NG+ what will I be needing more of? Or should I be rounding up other attributes as well? Maybe I should try to get some more attunement slots
Anor Londo done, those FUCKING bow knights. I killed the boss duo guys on my first try, super easy. I also completed the painting, did the hollow tree, ash lake and I am now in new londo. I switched to the great scythe as my main weapon, I just need large ember to push it to 15. I changed the ugi to a chaos blade its almost max (mostly just want the trophy, but I hear its great for PVP).

You will get the very large ember in new londo. I cheesed the bow knights with poison arrows. And no I am not ashamed of it. Did you kill the bosses on your own? Which did you do first? I'm playing in Royal Wood a lot. I get summoned as a phantom (killed Artoras about half a dozen times - and attempted the dragon and failed a couple of times - one was close though). The area always gets invaded as well. So it's kind of active and fun.

Maybe some STR? Some weapons like the gargoyle's halberd scale lso with STR so it never hurts, also more pyro slots are always welcome. By the looks of it you're pretty much done with leveling up anyway. I uninstalled the game but even at SL 100+ (45 DEX, 35 STR, 36 VIT, 30 END) I was steamrolling through NG+.

By myself. I killed the fat one as you are supposed to, got the Leo ring. I dont know why it was so easy, I dodged everything and pretty much lived in the crotch area of the fat guy while slashing him.

You're not normal
