I came across this freaking flamethrowing oni. It was tough. And I came across the onis who held the dragon tail and head. So cool.
Next up is the guardians above soldier town and the royal district. I was loving the TV maze bit when a family member pissed me off so I had to quit.

Mount Sobamanjaro or TV Dinnah; it's your choice. Just remember once you finish them, New Island awaits, as does King Jumbo Champloo. HE gave me more trouble than the FINAL Boss!
I might be wrong, but I think I fought Jumbo before TV Dinnah. I didn't think he was too hard, except for the job-mixing laser. That was just a cheap attack.
Well I tried this out, and its' too good fro me tos top playing. But fuck after they hold your hand they then drop you in it with out warning! o.o
I have two stupid questions that I couldn't find definite answers to in the manual or tutorials. HOW THE FUCK DO I GET HOT SPRINGS?! I see these black cracks in the ground but farmers nor anyone else can dig the damn things up!
Secondly badges are just for classes rgiht? So if I removed the badges they'd go back to carefree adults? What's the point of that.
Thirdly, when people die aren't they meant to be goen? :/ I often see people with the names of people who've died. Is that cause they've washed up on the beach?
Finally (and this isn't really much of a question) I'm meant to be attacking the onii kingdom but the gate is shut. i'm guessing I'm meant to kill the onii out of reach on the right so that I can't proceed without hunters. That's all well and good, but it'd be nice if they gave me more than one small stupid mushroom area to make freaking 4 mill in to make the hunter buildign!

**Farmers definitely DO dig them up. Throw one at the crack til they dig! Make sure you turn on the guide-line (I think it's Z or C on the Nunchuk) it DEFINITELY helps!**

**Badges define who is part of the Royal Guard. Take them away and that person will no longer be on your guard, but their job will NOT revert back to Carefree Adult.**

**The game will announce on the morning news when someone actually does die. You'll also notice a few of your citizens walking around dressed in black. If you see people wandering around after they fell in battle, you're right, they probably washed ashore without you noticing!**

**Sounds like your missing something. Farmers can cut through logs so there's probably a larger area available to you than you think. Also, don't be intimidated by the amount; gather random treasure, dig where you see the 'X's'... Can you do quests yet? They make money quick too!**
Yup, but I haven't got any quests since the frog one!
I thought only Lumberjacks could cutthrough the giant trees?
It's weird, cause on those cracks with the guideline on nothings lights up when I point it at it (with farmers in my party of course). And when I throw farmers at the giant logs they don't know what to do!
I'll make an entire party of farmers and see what happens, though! Thanks for the help.
Anyway you were right! That's strange that it doesn't have the little red ball come up like it does on everything else. But they dug them up anyway, thanks a lot!
I then explored a certain area a little more thoroughly and found two spots to build steps and made about 10 mill in the proccess! Also married my first two people!
Just started and I like it a lot. Very charming game. The music is awesome so far. It's the first thing I noticed. I laughed my ass off when the soldier walked inside the house and brought back tax money. I had been trying to get the regular citizens inside the building, thinking I was doing something wrong. I just built a town square and had to stop. I'll get in way more game time and provide more impressions tomorrow.
My first person actually died. Poor Melan.
Damn those funeral suits are fucking awesome, though! I need to kill more people so that people are always wearing them.

If you go behind the church they hold funerals. I've never seen one as I always restart if I lose people. Music is so awesome, scroll up page 11, I put downloadable tracks from the game.
Legal and free.

I saw them standing around in the graveyard, but I don't think they did much other than that. At one point all of the funeral people were walking up past the "castle" and I though that they would be holding the funeral there.
Anyawy, a word of advice, don't fight the Onii king with 11 hunters and 1 farmer.
I've got to go easy. I lost five men in a couple of days. I didn't see a funeral for them though.
I haven't even come close to getting to the Onni King yet? I'm three hours in and I just got a hunter's house.

Then they probably didn't perma-die.
It announces it on the morning news when one of your citizens dies for good.
They probably washed ashore and are part of your town again.
after several attempts at killing the giant escargo I fainlly managed to kill it...then one of my several soldiers who'd decided to jump off a cliff and get trapped were killed by a chicken or something!
I was quite pissed off! I quit, and when I killed it again safely...I got one measly reward! Thankfully that capped off a very annoying period, though. It's been plain sailing since then.
You'll get many items like that: Cupid's Bow, A Pillow... and a few others I don't recall... Equip them and KEEP them equipped! They are what turns the tide of battle 99% of the time!
